If the Body Mass Index (BMI) was available in the late 1800s, most of these chubby ladies were either overweight (BMI 25-29.9) or obese (BMI 30+).
Times change. Opinions regarding beauty change.
In 2019, women, who look like a young Marilyn Monroe, are considered beautiful.
Women who look like Renoir's overweight & obese models were studied by scientists in the U.K., recently. The results were startling.
The U.K. scientists found that obesity now causes more cases of four common cancers than smoking tobacco.

These U.K. Scientists believe that obesity is a disease that makes you susceptible to contract other diseases, probably because being overweight damages the immune system.
Ever wonder why the prevalence of obesity has nearly tripled since 1975?
The answer is obvious. It's the mostly-carbohydrate food you eat & the poisons you drink, which are loaded with hundreds of fattening additives. Sugar & sugar additives are fattening plus some sodas, like Dr. Pepper, use a flame retardant for flavoring.
Any time that I see anyone drinking sodas, like Dr. Pepper, it makes me sad. Whenever I see a youngster at a family reunion scurrying about holding a soda, I imagine how the kid will look in 30 years with twenty-pounds of hard-to-permanently-remove fat on his or her waistline.
Bread is a carbohydrate. I quit eating bread both because it is 10% sugar, & most bread contains gluten. Gluten causes inflammation which, in turn, causes diseases like cancer.

In the event you don't know it, after years on a junk food diet, you body gets used to converting carbohydrates for energy. The liver then packs the extra carbs, that aren't used for energy, as fat around your liver (causing fatty liver) & around your waist & belly.

I buy my raw, unprocessed honey from either a beekeeper or at a health food store.
Most of the honey at supermarkets is pasteurized, which means it has been subjected to intense heat which kills all beneficial microorganisms as well as bad bacteria. Essentially, when you buy supermarket honey with a bear’s face on the bottle or jar, you’re getting just a bottle or jar of sugar, rather than getting a food that has been used as a tonic & medicine for more than 8,000 years.
Raw, unprocessed honey is an energy-packed nutrient bomb with healthy flavonoids, minerals, enzymes & other healthy microorganisms.
Germs can’t survive in raw, processed honey. In Europe, it’s used in hospitals for treating open wounds.
Raw, unprocessed honey acts as a potent antibacterial, anti-fungal & anti-viral & can kill 60 species of bacteria inside the body & on your skin. In one study, researchers found raw honey significantly inhibited the growth of bladder cancer cells in vitro
I eat at least one teaspoon of raw, unprocessed honey every evening with my apple cider vinegar as I keep trying to get my body’s pH more alkaline.
My advice is to never buy supermarket honey, which is pure sugar, & will cause disease-promoting inflammation in your body, which, in turn should shorten your life.
Milk, fruit juices, yoghurt etc. are usually pasteurized at 275 degrees f, much higher than the 212 degrees f at which water boils.
In my opinion, pasteurization to food product’s beneficial microorganisms is like chemotherapy to beneficial organisms in the body. Both processes kill everything in its path, both the good & the bad stuff.
Unless I was drunk or senile, or both, I would never drink nutrient-dead pasteurized milk or submit my body to the misery of chemotherapy. Did you know that chemotherapy kills 35% of those who take the treatment?
I prefer raw milk to pasteurized milk & raw, unprocessed honey to the nutrient-lacking heat-processed honey sold to naïve buyers by supermarkets across America.
There are exceptions to every rule. Cruciferous vegetables, like broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, Brussel sprouts etc. lose about 20% of their water-soluble vitamins B & C when boiled in water for a short time. When boiled for over 30 minutes, these vegetable lose much more of their vitamin content. Therefore, boil these vegetables for a very short time, steam or microwave them or eat them raw, in order to benefit from their nutrients.
In contrast, a few vegetables are more beneficial to your health when eaten cooked.
These vegetables, which can also be eaten raw, include the following:
ASPARAGUS has more cancer-fighting antioxidants once cooked
. TOMATOES cooked allows you to absorb more lycopene
CARROTS cooked allow you to absorb more of its beta carotene (vitamin A)
SPINACH cooked allows you to absorb more iron, calcium & magnesium
After the vitamins & mineral are processed into your bloodstream, what’s left of these vegetables becomes a prebiotic in your gut, working with your good bacteria, & probiotic if you take one, to keep you regular.

THEN Do you remember the day you found out that there was no Santa Claus?
I recall that I was 5 years old in the First Grade at Putnam Avenue grammar school in Hamden, Connecticut, a northern suburb of New Haven with about 3,000 lower-middle class folks struggling to survive in 1937.
A mean kid in an upper grade at school, probably, to make himself more important & informed, came up to a group of 1st graders at recess & said, “There ain’t no Santa Claus.”
I didn’t believe the older kid, so I asked my Mom when I came home, that afternoon. After a long pause & some hemming & hawing, Mom admitted that the older kid was right.
My myth was shattered. I felt terrible that Santa & his reindeer were made up stories to fool little kids like me.
NOW I felt the same way that I felt that day in 1937, on May 2, 2018, when I found out the truth about Dark Chocolate with 70% or more cacao.
I felt deceived, lied to & betrayed by both the bureaucrats in the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) & the SOBs in the chocolate manufacturing business.
If you can’t trust the candy makers, who affect the health of every American kid, who can you trust? I believe that high temperatures over 120 degrees f kills most, if not all, nutrients in commercial chocolate, no matter what white lies they tell you, below.

Researchers, likely paid by commercial chocolate companies, found that dark chocolate with 70% or more of cacao had these benefits:
1. A consumer advocacy group named “As You Sow,” tested 50 chocolate brands for heavy metals & found most brands as unsafe & filled with lead & cadmium. Avoid these brands:

Ghirardelli intense dark 86% Cacao Dark Midnight Reverie is a 3.17 ounce candy bar costing about $2.99 at Walgreen’s. It has 5 grams of sugar for every 4 pieces of chocolate in the 8-piece bar. This candy bar has about 25% of the sugar in the Lindt Excellence A Touch of Sea Salt candy bar.
Since sugar is the favorite food of cancer cells, it’s advisable to minimize your desire for any chocolate…but if you ever do plan to splurge, like I do sometimes, go for Ghirardelli intense dark 86% Cacao Dark Midnight Reverie. What I’m trying to tell you (see above) is that only YOU have the power to protect yourself from heavy metals, like lead & Cadmium, in your food supply.
The FDA does as much enforcement of good health standards as the SEC did to protect the thousands of suckers who were swindled in 2008 by Bernie Madoff. When it counted, both of these governmental agencies were incompetent. Unlike the SEC’s ineptitude, that cost people only their money, the FDA’s casual attitude toward heavy metals in your food & water supply could cost you your life, as shown by information about the dangers of low-level lead exposure supplied, next, by Fred Pescatore M.D. Dr. Pescatore discusses, in his e-mail report, a new study “upwards of half a million premature heart disease deaths in the U.S. every year have ties to low-lead exposure. And for the record, that’s higher-by about ten times – than previous estimates.”
“Ultimately, low-level lead exposure was linked with a 38% increase in all-cause mortality, a 95% increase in cardiovascular disease mortality & a 157% increase in ischemic heart disease mortality. Which means that lead exposure (eating or drinking lead) might actually be responsible for up to one-third of all heart disease deaths.”
“And think about it. If this small amount of lead (e.g. in most brands of chocolate & other food) can prove fatal (over time), just imagine what it’s doing to our bodies BEFORE it kills us?”
An ideal lead level is under 1 ug/dl, & the average lead level in the USA is 2.7. About 20% of the public have dangerous lead levels of 5 or over. They are likely the same folks who eat the lead & cadmium-filled chocolate listed earlier in this newsletter.
Ask your doctor to test you for lead. If you test out too high, have him/her advise you how to get the lead out.
Whatever else you decide to do, avoid eating chocolate laced with lead & cadmium.

THE PROBLEM WITH COMMERCIAL CHOCOLATE & Dark Chocolate
Most, if not all, commercial chocolate, like the “Hershey Bar,” is heated to over 120 degrees f, which kills most of the nutrients & leaves you with sugar & heavy metals.
If I had a chocolate addiction (which is probably a sugar addiction), I’d purchase most of my chocolate at either a health food store or online at a health website, where I’d guess you’d get less processing & less sugar.
A smarter alternative is to make your own chocolate smoothie with organic cacao powder, coconut milk & a piece of fruit, like a banana or peach. Cacao powder is not highly-processed or highly-heated, contains no sugar, is packed with potassium & other minerals, is energy-boosting, non-GMO. & gluten-free
I buy cacao powder (this is not cocoa powder) online at vitacost.com in about a $16-$18 a pound package & about half that for 8-ounces, buy organic coconut milk at the health food store & sometimes use non-organic Silk-brand coconut milk from WalMart.
A NEW CONSUMER REPORTS National survey Found These Astounding Facts About Packaged Baby Food. Every packaged baby food examined by Consumer Reports had measurable levels of at least one of these heavy metals: Lead, cadmium or inorganic arsenic. 50 packaged foods for babies & toddlers were examined.
Exposure to heavy metals at a young age causes many health problems, especially lower I.Q., behavior problems, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders & has been linked to autism.
WHERE DOES THIS PACKAGED FOOD CONTAMINATION COME FROM?
I agree with some scientists who believe that much of the contamination comes from something in the manufacturing process, like the type of metal used in the machinery or petroleum-based gaskets or hoses etc.

Two biggest U.S. baby food manufacturers, Beech-Nut & Gerber point the finger elsewhere than themselves. They explain that crops absorb heavy metal from the earth & water, not from their equipment.
SINCE MOST PACKAGED FOOD IS CONTAMINATED WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE?
Unless you like playing Russian roulette with your health, never eat a cookie, chip or anything else from a package of food prepared by a food manufacturer or grocery store.
Avoid all kinds of rice, even brown rice. Rice absorbs about 10 times more arsenic from the soil that other grains absorb. Grow as much of your food as possible in your backyard. Don’t expect the inept FDA to protect you against anything, except learning the truth about your contaminated food supply. Remember that risks from heavy metals grow over time, in part because they accumulate in the kidneys & other internal organs like the liver.
These heavy metal toxins can sicken & sometimes kill you. An organic fruit & vegetable wash removes toxic Roundup. Maybe, it will remove some heavy metals, too, from the surface of fruit & vegetables.

"Dis-moi ce que tu manges, je te dirai ce que tu es.” (You Are What You Eat.)
In 1826, a medical Frenchman, Anthelme Brillat-Savarin wrote this phrase (see above) in his book “Physiologie du Gout, ou Meditations Gastronomie Transcendante.”
Most folks under thirty believe themselves invincible, & ignore Brillat-Savarin’s advice.
As their bodies begin to break down due to a combination of age, booze, drugs, cigarettes and/or a junk-food diet, older folks begin to pay attention to what food & drink they swallow.
What few folks realize is that the food you eat & drink directly influences what I consider the most important hormone in the body, Insulin.
Drinking & eating sugar (e.g. soft drinks) & refined carbohydrates (e.g. bread, pasta) increases insulin levels in your blood. With elevated levels of insulin in your body, fat won’t burn &, instead, is stored in the body. This is why over 30% of Americans are obese.
Every time you eat or drink sugar, your pancreas secretes insulin to decrease glucose (sugar) in the blood. The more sugar in your diet, the faster you will wear out your pancreas, which also plays a key role in producing digestive enzymes.
Insulin is but one hormone in your body’s endocrine system, but raised or lowered insulin affects other hormones such as leptin, the energy hormone & ghrelin, the hunger hormone. Research shows that increases in insulin level leads to decreased energy & increased hunger, so you eat more & the fat cycle continues.
Complex carbohydrates, like fiber-rich vegetables, don’t cause high elevations in insulin. Practically any vegetable is a complex carbohydrate, like onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, spinach, broccoli, cucumber, radish etc. They provide vitamins & minerals, balance the hormones in your body, help to regulate your appetite, decrease hunger & increase your fat-burning potential.
High levels of insulin contribute to high levels of inflammation in the body, which, over time, triggers numerous diseases and altered mental states.
Sugar = inflammation. Inflammation = Numerous diseases, depression & other altered mental states Sugar is cancer cells favorite food. The more sugar you eat, the faster your cancer cells will grow into a cancerous tumor. Read product labels. Avoid products containing sugar.
If you believe that inflammation is not important, remember what Keith Scott-Mumby M.D. states on page 49 in his book, “Fire in the Belly:”
“Alzheimer’s disease …is definitely an inflammatory disease.”
Dr. Scott-Mumby also said this in “Fire in the Belly,” on page 133:
“Get rid of sugar & sugar substitutes; it will kill you if you don’t.”
Before sugar kills you, it will weaken your immune system, making you susceptible to numerous diseases
Your body is like a race car engine. Sugar in the gas tank will gum-up the engine, much like it will the human body. Feed a race car engine a junk food diet of poor quality gasoline & oil, & the engine will eventually sputter out & die. So will your body on a junk food diet.
It’s your decision if you want to have a long, healthy life or a short life full of bad health issues.

A food additive, monosodium glutamate (AKA MSG) is used as a taste enhancer in tens of thousands of food products you buy at your supermarket.
According to Russell Blaylock M.D., & numerous other food-oriented medical folks, MSG & other food additives containing glutamate, & are extremely harmful to your health.
Most glutamate in the body is stored safely within your cells. Only glutamate outside the cells, like the glutamate in food or additives, like MSG, can damage you. Researchers have recently learned that glutamate is one of about a dozen or so chemicals called neurotransmitters, which relay signals to the brain. Humans are 20 times more susceptible to brain damage from elevated glutamate levels from MSG & other additives than are rhesus monkeys.
“Animals fed MSG early in life became grossly obese—and later it was extremely difficult to reduce that obesity with either diet or exercise.” (SOURCE: “The Blaylock Report,” September 2017, page 9)
IF YOU DON’T TRY TO LIMIT YOUR INTAKE OF GLUTAMATE, NO ONE ELSE WILL. Government agencies, like the FDA, are too corrupt & inept to ever be qualified to protect your health. Anyways, why should they try to prolong your life when the Social Security system is broke & the government benefits from your premature death?
You may not realize that most wheat, today, is genetically-engineered to have much higher glutamate levels than occur naturally. So I boycott processed wheat-based foods, including bread & pasta. You might considering doing the same.
Additionally, certain toxic metals can also raise glutamate levels in the brain – especially mercury & aluminum, both of which are found in some vaccines & your city’s water supply. For this reason, I’ve avoided taking any vaccines for the past 12-15 years & installed a reverse osmosis filter under my kitchen sink in 1990 & a toxin metal filter in my showerhead over 10 years ago. I will try anything that might preserve my brain. My body may be wearing out, starting in my legs & lungs, but I want to die with a brain that is fully-functioning.
Always remember that the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) laws were written by the big food companies’ lawyers. Unless a product contains close to 99% MSG, manufacturers don’t have to put “contains MSG” on the label. As a result, food manufacturers use a bunch of disguised names on the label to make the consumer believe the product doesn’t contain MSG or other glutamate/aspartate additives that can harm you. These bogus names are: Hydrolyzed vegetable protein Glutavene Glutacyl Autolyzed yeast abstract Calcium caseinate Sodium caseinate E621 (E620-625 are all glutamates) Ajinomoto, Accent seasoning Gourmet powder
In the event you haven’t yet realized it, you are under daily assault by “fake news” in the food you eat as well as in the print & electronic media.
Once you realize this, try never to buy packaged, canned or anything completely or partially-prepared by a food manufacturer. Buy your cheese in bulk rather than already-sliced cheese from Kraft. Avoid food where you only add water, or an egg or boil & serve.
The more a food manufacturer has messed with the food, the deadlier it likely is for you to eat. I don’t trust these SOBS. You shouldn’t, either. Avoid grain-fed (confined) meat from animals that are raised in confined, unhealthy conditions like many cattle & chickens are.
Food manufacturers think that you, the consumer, is a moron. Prove to them that you’re not a complete fool, by boycotting their unhealthy food products. When sales fall to unprofitable levels, maybe these yahoos will begin to offer consumers more healthy foods without glutamate & other stuff that can shorten your life.

I am very discouraged by the way food manufacturers mislead & screw the consumer. Politicians are not the only group to shaft Americans every day & in every way.
You are constantly under attack by misleading & confusing terms that food manufacturers place on labels of products. Not only is the mainstream media (CNN, ABC-TV,CBS-TV,ABC-TV, CNBC, “New York Times,” etc) feeding you fake news, every day, but food manufacturers are also creating fake news on their food labels to confuse the consumer & maximize their profit.
They can do this because of very lax labeling regulations by the Food Safety and Inspection Service Division of the Department of Agriculture. I wouldn’t be surprised if food manufacturers’ lawyers wrote these regulations, since they also helped write laws regulating Big Pharma drugs.
In my opinion, these meat laws, below, were written to deceive the public & came from a “Consumer Reports” survey of shoppers, “Decoding the Labels on Meat Packages,” written by Trisha Calvo, June 22, 2016. In the survey most consumers had no idea what the labeling terms really meant. Below are the labeling terms:
PARTIAL GRASS FED The meat must come from animals that have NEVER been given grain (to make them fat) & have access to pasture during the grazing season. Animals can still be raised with antibiotics or hormones. There is little difference between partially grass fed & a conventionally feedlot-confined one. GRASS FED This meat is okay. These U.S. cattle are fed ONLY grass or forage from weaning to slaughter & are not given antibiotics & hormones. HUMANELY RAISED This term has no official definition & is meaningless
NO GROWTH HORMONES/NO ADDED HORMONES/NO HORMONES OR STEROIDS ADDED This label is truthful, but can be misleading. Labels are designed to sell the product, not to only inform the consumer. The USDA does NOT allow hormones or steroids to be used in poultry or pork. However, a “NO HORMONE” claim doesn’t mean the animal was not given antibiotics, or that hogs were not given a growth drug, Ractopamine, that is neither a hormone nor an antibiotic .Ractopamine gets around the “no hormone rule,” as it is a growth hormone, but is not classified by the government as one. The consumer is likely being deceived when they pays a premium for “NO Hormone” meat, as it probably has a drug, like Ractopamine, in it.
NO Nitrates/NO NITRATES or NO NITRATES ADDED While the USDA has limits on how much synthetic nitrates/nitrites a food may contain, there are NO restrictions for ntural ones. These food manufacturers often use natural nitrates/nirites, like celery juice or celery powder, to confuse the consumer. Be aware that natural nitrates/nitrites carry the same riss as synhetic nitrates/nitrites. Check the label for celery juice or celery powder. If either or both are listed, avoid the product
. RAISED WITHOUT ANTIBIOTICS OR NO ANTIBIOTICS ADMINSTERED No government agency ever inspects U.S. meat for antibiotics. An honest meat producer might never use antibiotics, but many give low doses of antibiotics to their animals, regularly, to prevent disease & consider they still raise their animals without antibiotics. The USDA NEVER checks their meat to see if they do use antibiotics, so other crooked meat producers list on the label NO GROWTH PROMOTING ANTIBIOTICS, because they are allowed to use low dose antibiotics to ensure the animal’s health. This practice deceives the consumer & does little to prevent the development of antibiotic resistant bacteria (which can kill you if you ever need antibiotics to save your life.).
In Oklahoma, Braum’s dairy stores are known as food manufacturers of antibiotic-free meat & chickens & great ice cream. I’ve had plenty of Braum’s chocolate chip milkshakes, ice cream cones & sundaes, since 1970, none of which are labeled. I had always considered Braum’s to be a health-promoting food manufacturer. Boy, was I wrong!
On July 7th, I finally took a look at the label of a 3-pint Braum’s chocolate chip ice cream carton & couldn’t believe what I saw. INGREDIENTS: Fresh Grade A Whole milk, Cream, SUGAR, Chocolate Chip SUGAR, Coconut Oil, Cocoa processed with Alkali, Partially
Hydrogenated Coconut Oil etc.
In my opinion, partial hydrogenated oils, like partially-hydrogenated coconut oil (above) clog your arteries & are the worst possible ingredient for you to eat. High fructose corn syrup is the 2nd most lethal ingredient because it makes you fat & shortens your lifespan, and: Sugar is another killer since it both destroys your adrenal glands & is cancer’s favorite food for growth.
In my opinion, bad ingredients, like sugar, or sugar substitutes like high fructose corn syrup & fire retardants used in some diet sodas, will make you fat, over time, make it impossible to lose much weight & will stress your liver, kidneys, adrenal glands & other organs causing numerous health problems down the road.
Ignore my advice to read the labels, now, or pay the price somewhere down in the future.
If you are a smart consumer, you will always read the label BEFORE (not after) you buy the product. If you are not a smart consumer, you’ll likely live a shorter life than most Americans. Whether you live a long, healthy life is up to you.
What you voluntarily put in your body can either extend or shorten your number of years on earth.

The Food & Drug Administration (FDA) is mostly staffed by former executives from the drug & food industry. These bureaucrats have regulations enacted that benefit drug & food companies, not the consumer.

Trans fats clog up your arteries, but they give food longer shelf life, so the FDA approved its use until Dr. Fred Kummerow sued the SOBs, See Mercola.com article, below:

The FDA, the government agency set up to protect the consumer, protects only food & drug companies. You need to protect yourself from policies allowed by this corrupt agency. Screen every product you eat if it is labeled. Nuts are a wonderful product to eat as shown, below, as long as they’re not processed & sugared by food companies.
NUTS Bulk nuts are one of the healthiest foods you can eat.
Nuts have protein, unsaturated (good) fatty acids, fiber, many micronutrients, are inexpensive & easy to store. However, some nuts, like Peanuts & Macadamias, can turn rancid if kept around for over 6 months after the jar or package is opened.
In some studies, nuts help reduce the risk of cancer & aids combatting respiratory diseases. Nuts give you energy, lower bad LDL-cholesterol, reduces the risk of blood clots, improve the linings of your arteries &lowers blood pressure.

General George Armstrong Custer was an overconfident fool, which led to his premature death. Custer believed the “fake news” in the nation’s newspapers that he was invincible.
Don’t be like Custer, who, ignoring his advisors (friendly Indian scouts) who told him of “teepees as far as the eye can see,” split his 500 troops in half & charged 6,000 hostile Indians with 250 soldiers.
In 2017, the media still produces “fake news,” both about politics & your health. Because of advertising revenues from food & soft drink companies, the media will seldom ever print a negative article about toxic additives in your food & drinks. At least five red petroleum-based dyes in hamburger meat were quietly taken of the market after a few years of tests proved each caused cancer. There is no way of telling if the dye used in your packaged food (e.g. chips) or drink (e.g. soda) is petroleum-based or not. Read the label on the package of every product you buy. If the label on a bag of chips, for example, reads “Yellow dye 6” this means that the 5 previous yellow dyes were proved harmful to your body, probably cancer-causing.
I believe that one of the worst additives in food & drink is High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS), a popular sweetener. It’s used in the USA because it is cheap for food & drink manufacturers to buy. It’s cheap because of sugar tariffs suggested by HFCS lobbyists, who like Monsanto lobbyists, bribed congress to pass laws favoring them. Run by bean counters who don’t give a hoot about your health, these manufacturers normally go with the cheapest ingredients to maximize profits. HFCS makes you susceptible to heart attacks, strokes, fat deposits on your liver (fatty liver), & plaque build-up in your arteries. (SOURCE: www.mercola.com)
Read ingredient labels on products that you buy.
No other generation has been exposed to so many man-made chemicals & toxic substances as we are, today. Our organs of detoxification, the liver, kidneys, spleen, intestines, skin & lymph system are being overwhelmed by difficult-to-process toxic consumer products, which harms the immune system, making you vulnerable to all forms of bacteria & viruses. (Cancer is a virus.)
One of the worst products destroying your health is soda. One can of soda a day can add as much as 15 pounds of fat to your weight in a year. Full of all sort of chemicals, like HFCS, that, over time, destroys your liver & other detox organs, sodas also increase your risk of diabetes by 85%, according to Joseph Mercola D.O. in a medical report dated 1/11/2012 at www.mercola.com.
In my opinion, anyone who drinks sodas has to be crazy! Use sodas from the grocers or McDonalds to remove rust from your car’s chrome. Never drink the toxic stuff, unless you’re drunk or crazy.
While diet sodas don’t contain HFCS, they are even worse due to other artificial sweeteners with even more long-term toxicity than HFCS.
Also, most citrus sodas, like Mountain Dew, Squirt, Fanta Orange, PowerAde, Gatorade, Fresca Citrus etc. contain Brominated Vegetable Oil (BVO), which was 1stpatented as a flame-retardant.
Banned as toxic in food & drink in Europe & Japan, BVO causes psychosis (like mercury does), iodine deficiency, fatigue, heart problems, acne & rashes.
Some drink manufacturers sneak HFCS or BVO into your drink label under the heading “Artificial Flavoring.” You’d be smart to avoid all sodas & even most liquid meal substitutes for over-weight people & protein drink mixes, if you want good health. Read the labels on everything you’re about to buy, before you purchase the product. Avoid all products that list “Artificial Flavoring” as an ingredient.
Not only does HFCS harm your immune system, but it speeds up aging, harms your liver & other organs. Laboratory tests show that HFCS also contains mercury.
According to tests done in 2005 on HFCS, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) knew of the mercury problem with HFCS, then, & sat on the data…never making it public. WHY? The powerful Corn Lobby & other food industry lobby groups control congress & the FDA with monetary support. When lobbyists yell “FROG,” congress & the FDA reply “HOW HIGH?”

begin working on your Obituary for the local newspaper. You’ll need it sooner than later.

Though faced with impossible odds, the Spartan army of only 7,000 held back the 100,000-man strong Persian army & navy for over three days, in 480 BC at the Battle of Thermopylae, allowing the citizens of Athens time to evacuate and avoid complete destruction by the Persian army. “You are what you eat,” was a phrase used in Europe in the 1800s with different translations, but the actual phrase didn't emerge in English until sometime later. In the 1920s and 30s, nutritionist Victor Lindlahr, who was a strong believer in the idea that food controls health, developed the Catabolic Diet.

Observing that Glyphosateis made, partly, from 2 chemicals in deadly Agent Orange, European nations tested this product on animals with digestive systems similar to humans, like guinea pigs & mice, & found it caused tumors, cancer & premature death. For that reason, Roundup & its main ingredient,
Glyphosate, is banned in most of the world as being dangerous to human health. Only the U.S.A. & Africa have politicians corrupt enough to approve its use on their food supply. No animal test results were ever presented by Monsanto for public scrutiny. In 2013, the average American ate 193 pounds of Glyphosate-saturated GMO food.
In the event you have forgotten, from one of my previous reports, all food from Monsanto’s GMO seeds & sprayed with Glyphosate are banned in both the Congressional & White House dining rooms. If we are what we eat, on the next page is shown what we American voters will be in 5 to 15 years, besides human guinea pigs testing Glyphosate’s toxicity.
“We could likely all be dead prematurely or probably sick from ingesting Glyphosate.” If you feel sick, now, the cause might be your stomach & 20 feet of intestines’ reaction to Glyphosate. If so, eat more organic food. If you eat garbage, like junk foods, chips, sodas, fried or sugary foods etc., you will pay for it with a shortened life span, stomach problems, maybe obesity & serious disease in the future (garbage out). This is also called “Cause & Effect.”
Two examples are: “If you smoke cigarettes, today, you’ll have an excellent chance to get Lung Cancer, tomorrow,” & “Because of Congressional & Presidential greed, today, you, your children & grandkids may have shortened lives, tomorrow.”
Because of the wind, & bird’s carrying GMO seeds in their poop, expect most U.S. organic farms to be contaminated with GMO seeds & Glyphosatewithin the next 20 years. Most organic food, then, will be imported from Mexico or overseas. p.s. In case you don’t know it, Monsanto has been producing GMO corn & other unhealthy foods & spraying them with tons of Glyphosate since the mid-1990s.
(Since 1974, 3.5 Billion tons of Glyphosate has been sprayed on U.S. crops you eat.) It was only within the past 3 years that Congress quietly voted (unreported by the government-controlled media) to give Monsanto immunity from prosecution. Because of this immunity, all lawsuits against Monsanto for Glyphosate’s dangerous side effects should be tossed out of court. In addition to gumming-up your immune system, Glyphosate is also one of the herbicides killing bees that pollinate much of America’s food. Where is a 2013 biologist like 1962’s conservationist & biologist Rachel Carlson when we need her? What does this mean to you? If you don’t realize it by now, your food costs are about to go sky high. Hold on to your wallets. In addition to higher taxes to cover out-of-control government pork spending,your food prices should hit the ceiling by.2017.

Monsanto Protection Act was written by Monsanto, a Missouri firm, sponsored by a republican senator from Missouri, approved quickly & quietly by a sneaky democrat-controlled congress (2007-2012), not repealed by a republican-controlled congress (2013), signed by President Obama, March 28, 2013 & completely ignored by a shameful government-controlled media. If not for the Internet, we dumb voters (think Obamacare) would have been sucker-punched by the Obama regime, once again.

On August 8th, I wrote about how meat producers & packagers & retailers often mislabel meat to mislead the public.
This weekly memo gives an example of how corrupt the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) is, & how dangerous it is for you & your children to eat processed foods, especially processed macaroni and cheese.
Food manufacturer’s lobbyists control the FDA by help funding it & in other under-the-table ways that screw you, the consumer.
PHTHALATES were banned from toddlers’ toys as being toxic by the FDA, about ten (10) years ago, for they were linked to birth defects, hearing problems, behavior disorders & hormone disruption.
However, PHTHALATES were neve rbanned by the corrupt FDA from the food you eat.
Read below what INH Health Watch (inhresearch.com) has to say about how you & your kids are being poisoned every time you eat processed macaroni and cheese.
“Two million boxes of macaroni and cheese are sold every day. And that little bag of cheese powder you mix with the noodles is filled with compounds called PHTHALATES.
“A group of scientists from consumer advocacy & health organizations recently tested 10 brands of mac and cheese. Nine of the 10 products were produced by Kraft, which dominates the market. Every brand tested contained high levels of PHTHALATES.
“During manufacturing, chemicals (including PHTHALATES) from tubing, conveyor belts, gaskets & other plastic materials seep into (the) powdered cheese. PHTHALATES also leeches into the cheese powder from its packaging. These chemicals bind with fats. And cheese products are loaded with fat, so they absorb more of the chemicals than other foods.
“Europe has banned PHTHALATES from plastics that come in contact with fatty foods (just like they have banned all GMO food from the USA.)
“Stop eating processed macaroni and cheese. Processed cheese, especially American cheese that comes in slices, is also high in PHTHALATES.”
If you like to eat macaroni & cheese, make it from scratch. Use either organic cheese or bulk cheese that hasn’t been processed by a manufacturer like Kraft, who leave the word “PHTHALATES” off the product labels.
My advice to you is to always check labels on products, but to never fully-trust them. Assume that lots of bad stuff, not listed on the label, is in the processed food. Therefore buy food as untouched as possible by a food processor.
Consumer radio host, Clark Howard discussed the lies that food manufacturers tell & don’t put on their product label, about 8:25 P.M. on Tulsa’s AM 740 KRMG, on September 15, 2017. He advised to read the label, but realize that the bad ingredients are often left off the label, especially, like antibiotics, when added to animal feed in small amounts.
If you know an organic farmer, buy grass-fed meat & vegetables from him. You’ll avoid antibiotics & growth hormones in your meat & buy grass-fed meat instead of grain-fed. Organically-grown vegetables which shouldn’t have cancer-causing Roundup on them.
Like a bicycle that has slipped its chain, you can pedal as hard as you like; you still won’t get anywhere. The only thing that can prevent you from getting nowhere, near good health by eating toxic food, is knowledge of what to eat. Do your own research & read these weekly reports.
If you’re delusional & think that the government is looking after your health & well-being, think about your last IRS audit & the food-manufacturer-controlled FDA.
Because of congressional out-of-control-pork spending, the U.S. government is broke & desperate for cash. Nothing you own is safe from them, including your IRA or 401k, even when you die.
For example, my wife Betty, who died 12/4/2016, has received 22 threatening letters from the IRS for 7k in back taxes, although she never worked for the past 46 years. She filed a 1040 tax form, annually, jointly, with me for the past 46 years. These letters were addressed
to her in care of me.
We finally resolved this IRS mess, in early September 2017, with H&R Block’s help. Our tax bill was $0.00. Hopefully, H&R Block charged me $350 for their assistance.
In last week’s newsletter, I mentioned that “corrupt businessmen routinely bribe U.S. politicians for favorable legislation.”
Corrupt businessmen also bribe the FDA to look the other way whenever food manufacturers insert possible toxins in the food. Some of these possible toxins improve taste or give the product longer shelf life. Very seldom is the purpose of these additives to improve or extend your life.
Will Rogers was right when he said, “America has the best politicians (and bureaucrats) that money can buy.”

Art Youmans Books – “Wheat Belly” 2 June 2015
“Serendipity means a "fortunate happenstance" or "pleasant surprise". It was coined by Horace Walpole in 1754. In a letter he wrote to a friend Walpole explained an unexpected discovery he had made by reference to a Persian fairy tale, “The Three Princes of Serendip

The notion of serendipity is a common occurrence throughout the history of scientific innovation such as Alexander Fleming's accidental discovery of penicillin in 1928 (when he accidently left the cover off a Petri dish of bacteria over the weekend.)

In his 2011 Rodale Press book, “Wheat Belly,” a New York Times #1 Bestseller that has sold over 1 million copies, William Davis M.D., a cardiologist, explains disease cures he found, by serendipity, while trying to help fat (i.e. 30% or more overweight) patients lose flab.
According to Dr. Davis, the whole wheat bread we eat in 2015 is not the whole wheat bread our ancestors ate & not the whole wheat bread that our mothers served us before WWII. Since then, wheat has been genetically-modified into more than 25,000 varieties (pp. 16-25).
What used to be easily-digestible wild einkorn wheat that had 14 chromosomes has been genetically-modified into a new wheat- with 28 chromosomes, plus a much-shorter (one-or-two-foot high) modern wheat plant, called dwarf or semi-dwarf wheat that gives farmers a yield of about 8 to 1 over einkorn wheat. 99% of all wheat in the world is now genetically-modified dwarf or semi-dwarf wheat (p. 24). Unless the wheat product specifically states it is made with einkorn wheat,
it’s a GMO product. A frightening comment about dwarf & semi-dwarf wheat is made by Dr. Davis on page 25 when he comments that “…over the past 50 years, thousands of new (wheat) strains have made it to the human commercial food supply without a single effort at safety testing.” (This is consistent with the U.S. government not requiring Monsanto to conduct safety testing on their Roundup-ready, Agent-Orange coated GMO seeds, which now produce about 90% of corn grown in the U.S.A. & a high percent of other vegetables & fruits.
Due to genetic modification, wheat (glycemic level 72) increases blood sugar to a higher level than sugar, often worse than a can of soda or a candy bar. (p.33) Sugar, in the event you didn’t know it, sugar is the food that cancer cells thrive on. “People who eliminate wheat from their diet typically report improved mood, fewer mood swings, improved ability to concentrate, and deeper sleep within just days to weeks of their last bite of bagel or baked lasagna.” (p.44) Autistic children’s behavior has greatly improved with the elimination of both wheat & casein (from dairy) from their diet. (p.47) In stone-age New Guinea, prior to WWII, schizophrenia was practically unknown. After the introduction of genetically-modified wheat after WWII, cases of schizophrenia skyrocketed sixty-five fold. (p.46)
When Dr. Davis eliminated wheat from his obese patients’ diets, he was astounded by these results when he saw them, next, 3 months later. (p. 9): Symptoms of acid reflux had disappeared & diarrhea of Irritable bowel =syndrome (IBS) were gone. Their energy improved, they had greater focus, & sleep was deeper. Rheumatoid arthritis pain improved or disappeared, asthma symptoms improved or disappeared. Patients were thinner, more energetic, clearer thinking with better bowel, joint & lung health.
Type 2 diabetics regained normal blood glucose levels. What convinced Dr. Davis that wheat is a terrible food for many folks, is that symptoms of diseases, like IBS returned immediately after a patient ate wheat, like croutons in a salad, a couple of pretzels, cookies or a canapé at a cocktail party. Within minutes, many would experience diarrhea, joint swelling & pain & wheezing etc. (pp.9-10). This was true whether or not the patients were actually gluten intolerant.
Check out a copy of “Wheat Belly” at the public library or speculate & spend about 7 bucks plus shipping to buy a personal copy at Amazon.com. This knowledge you could gain from the book might educate your doctor, who would normally tell you something like, “Sorry, but you have IBS for which there is no cure. All you can do is manage the symptoms with (often-addictive) drug store products like Prilosec, Tylenol & other Big Pharma products.” Never forget that Big Pharma makes BIG BUCKS selling suckers, like you, products at the drug store every month that treat your symptoms.
Big Pharma doesn’t want to try to find a cure for any disease for which they could make tens of billions each year treating the symptoms. Don’t hold your breath waiting for Big Pharma to spend a dime in research to prevent a disease like cancer or IBS. If you want to find a solution to any disease you have, you better start looking for the cause or a cause in this report, on the Internet or at the public library. The time to start is now!
NOTE: I have eliminated WHEAT with gluten from my diet, by substituting Brown Rice (glycemic level 22) to replace the fiber in my diet. Brown Rice is what’s left after the hull of the rice kernel is removed, & before complete milling & polishing that produces white rice with little nutritional value. My advice is to buy a rice cooker for your Brown Rice.
Substitute Brown Rice for wheat whenever possible…as hamburger stretcher, instead of cereal, as turkey stuffing etc. Other benefits of Brown Rice include lowering your cholesterol from oils in the rice, reducing the risk of colon cancer from trace mineral selenium, & helping to normalize bowel function, reducing constipation. If you don’t like cooking, packages of Brown Rice cakes can be bought at any health food store for about 4 bucks.
WARNING: Brown Rice has NO gluten (from wheat), but can be easily contaminated if a mixing bowl or spoon hasn’t been properly cleaned & has wheat molecules still on it…either in your kitchen or when you order Brown Rice in a commercial restaurant. All rice, including Brown rice can absorb arsenic from the soil. Nevertheless, I prefer it to wheat with gluten. Wheat with gluten causes inflammation. Inflammation causes diseases, like dementia & cancer in the body.
NOTE: This newsletter was written more than 4 years ago. Since then, I switched to a mostly Ketogenic (Keto) diet with very little brown rice & very little non-gluten bread or flour.

Art Youmans, “Sore Knees, Aching Joints? If so, Try A Cartilage-Building Smoothie,”24 Jan. 2021
Due to an April 18, 1996 blood clot in my left leg, my left leg was amputated above the knee (AK) on April 20, 1996.
Since then, I’ve been walking with the aid of a left AK prosthesis, which, along with the liner, is 12-pounds of dead weight.
This placed a tremendous strain on my back & my right knee. Since my back seldom bothered me (because of strong abs), but my knee was sore & collapsed on me, often, doctors X-rayed my right knee & found over 50% of the cartilage, protecting bones (likely 55-60%), had been worn away.
March 11, 2018, I underwent a one-hour right knee stem cell procedure (it cost $3,500 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa), that is successful for 85% of those undergoing the procedure. Stems cells, taken by injection from fat cells in their back, are mixed in a centrifuge & then injected into the knee area. As I was 87, it took longer than usual to feel results, but three days shy of four months later I began to feel muscles tightening & “growing” in my right leg, which justified the sharp 10 seconds of severe pain from the stem cell removal injection. (it felt like I’d been stabbed with a sharp knife, twice.)
Since then, my right leg has become strong & has not collapsed, sending me to the ground. Knowing that stem cell procedures give you less than a year of relief, before the benefits disappeared, & realizing that the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) planned to ban stem cell treatments late in 2020, I researched knee cartilage problems online & came up with a smoothie that has done the job preventing sore knees & aching joints for nearly two years. As long as you’re not overweight, this smoothie may also work for you. I would like to share it with you, below.
My only evening meal is an all-fruit smoothie to build up my body & the body’s cartilage.
1 large scoop Type 2 Cartilage building Bone Broth Protein powder (2-1/2 tablespoons) 1 smaller scoop Type 1 & 3 Joint, Skin & Gut building Protein powder (2 tablespoons)
1 organic apple cut up plus 1 tablespoon organic apple cider vinegar, 1 organic banana 15-20 non-GMO dates. I’ll vary fruit, often adding grapes, pineapple, frozen mangos etc.
A few tablespoons of non-fat Whole Foods yoghurt A few tablespoons of non-GMO or organic applesauce
1-3/4 cups (1 large glass full) of unsweetened Coconut milk either plain or vanilla
I vary the amount of dates, yoghurt etc., depending on how hungry I feel.
I believe there is a synergism (2+2=5) achieved when you combine a Type 2 cartilage powder with a powder combining Type 1 & 3 joint, skin & gut powder. It has worked well for an old guy with a formerly sore knee/aching joint, like me. My right knee isn’t sore & hasn’t collapsed since 2018.

You may be surprised to know that 75% of all antibiotics used in the USA are dumped into GMO feed & injected into larger animals to fatten them up at concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs).
There are likely thousands of CAFOs in America.
Why is this done? For example, pump a normal one pound chicken full of antibiotics & growth hormone & you end up with a two-and-a-half or 3-pound chicken in half to 2/3rd of the time.
Just like a weight lifter on steroids, the CAFOs maximize their bottom line with Charles Atlas-looking chickens, cattle, pigs & other animals.
These filthy, inhumane, polluting CAFO factory farms produce 90 to 95% of meat & animal products eaten in America. These include CAPO chicken farms where hundreds of thousands of chickens are caged for their entire life & pumped full of growth hormones & antibiotics in their feed to fatten them & artificially accelerate growth in a “frankenchicken.”
This is zero regard by the average CAFO operator of what harm their antibiotic & growth hormone-filled meat might do to your immune system, your liver, brain or other organ. All that matters to the CAFO operator is a profitable bottom line.
The inept U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), controlled by Big Pharma , Big Food Packagers, & Big Agriculture, ignores the evidence that the use of antibiotics on CAFOs (factory farms) spreads anti-resistant pathogens (TOXINS) into our food.
Why is this important to you? This information could save your life…if you feel that your life is worth saving.
At least 90,000 Americans die annually from antibiotic-resistant infections, according to Cambridge University researchers, who noted that the low-ball figure of 23,000 annual deaths from antibiotic resistant infections given by the U.S. government is incorrect.
One day, you may be among those 90,000 unless you start buying chicken, beef, pork, eggs etc. at a store that doesn’t sell antibiotic-and-growth-hormone-filled food. Not only are these giant concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs) & the GMO corn & soybean farms that supply them pumping you with antibiotics, growth hormones & other stuff that can sicken & kill you, but, according to Joseph Mercola, D.O., , they are the #1 source of water pollution in the U.S.A. Factory farms (CAFOs) confine, feed & drug with antibiotics & growth hormones etc. 50 billion of the 70 billion farm animals on this planet. That’s shocking. Over 71% of all the available meat on this planet is contaminated by CAFOs with drugs & other harmful stuff that can sicken & kill you over time.
As a consumer, you have a target on your back. The FDA doesn’t care as much about your health as it does about the financial health of Big Pharma, Big Food Packagers & Big Agriculture. The FDA cares only about the bottom line of these major corporations that benefit from Factory Farms (CAFOs). In their eyes, you are one of the suckers buying meats contaminated with drugs that build up in your body & probably won’t kill you immediately.
As long as you know what’s going on, you have the opportunity to shop for meats at markets that advertise “no antibiotics or growth hormones in our meat & eggs.” There are plenty of these markets around. Just take time to locate them.

If you don’t yet suffer from the above 23 ailments & illnesses, the chances are, as you age, you’ll encounter many of them on your progression in age.
The principles of proper food combining are simple:
High protein foods like steak should be eaten at a meal only with other proteins, vegetables or salad.
Transit time through your digestive system for meat, poultry, cheese, fish, eggs & other proteins is 4 to 8+ hours.
Starch foods, like potatoes, bread, rice, pasta etc, are digested more quickly in 3 to 4 hours. I eat very little starch, as I'm starting on the Ketogenic (AKA Keto) diet which allows no more than 15 grams of starch a day. (A 4-inch pancake is about 13 grams of starch.)
When a meal consists of both protein & starch, the stomach’s digestive enzymes digest the protein first. While the protein is being digested over the next 4+ hours, the starch is putrefying in the stomach & losing nutritional value.
Some doctors believe that this causes some of the 23 ailments & illnesses listed above.
Vegetables can be safely-eaten with either a protein or starch meal. They combine well.
Fruit, however, should be eaten on
an empty stomach as it is not digested in the stomach but in the small intestine. It takes about 25 minutes from the cilia in the stomach to move a banana, for example, from the stomach into the small intestine.
Never eat fruit with a meal unless you want possible problems, like the 23 listed previously.
Humans have been brainwashed, & unfortunately acquired a destructive desire to eat something sweet after a meal. Sugary & refined foods interfere with stomach acid & increase the risk of fermentation & stomach problems over time.
Any sweet desert eaten with a meal will interfere with the digestion of the meal. Ignore this advice & you'll make heartburn manufacturers, like Prilosec, even richer!
At breakfast, I'll soft-boil 2 free-range eggs, or cook a Denver-style omelet, add a chunk of colby jack cheese, a handful of cherry tomatoes, sauerkraut or other vegetable, a swig of cod liver oil, a teaspoon of Glycine mixed in a glass of extra-virgin organic coconut milk with a half-teaspoon of cacoa (chocolate) powder, plus a few walnuts, pistashios & cashews.
For lunch, I usually eat at home & have a protein meal, for example, of antibiotic-free & growth-hormone-free chicken, meatloaf or goulash with vegetables & a handful of walnuts or pistashios & lightly-cooked vegetables.
For supper, I might have a baked sweet potato saturated with unsalted, organic butter, half an avocado, & a glass of organic extra-virgin coconut milk with cacoa, mixed with Glycine, like I had at breakfast.
I'll likely add a few spoonfuls of almond butter. I avoid commercial milk, yoghurt & other pasteurized products where the vitamins have been destroyed. by heating to 192 degrees f.
Minutes before each meal, I slowly-swallow a large teaspoon of extra-virgin, organic coconut oil, to enhance the benefits of my high-fat, low-carb Keto diet.
Also, I sprinkle mineral-rich, no carbohydrate Hemp hearts (shelled hemp seeds) on salads, avocados & eggs or I eat a handful raw. They're tasty & improve your diet. An hour before supper, I'll eat a few handfuls of fruit: cherries, grapes, watermelon etc.
Even the most perfectly balanced diet will not be of any value unless the food is properly digested & absorbed by your body.
If you want to increase your energy levels, balance body weight & enhance your general well being, consider the potential benefits to your health with proper food combining.
I’ve been doing proper food combining for the past year or so. I feel pretty good for an old guy, especially from the neck up.
The older I get, the less I stare at the mirror because there's always some old guy, I don't recognize, staring back at me.

A hundred years ago, fewer than one in one hundred Americans was obese. Now, 40 out of 100 are considered obese.
QUESTION: Ever wonder why so many Americans are in terrible physical shape & unhealthy with limited life expectancy?
ANSWER: The answer is found in both 1911 & in 1953, as outlined below:
Before 1911, Crisco was used to make candles & soap. Tom Edison's electric lights caused a decline in the need for candles. So Proctor and Gamble switched markets & began promoting the exact-same Crisco as the first commercially-marketed hydrogenated trans fat, that was a healthier all-vegetable-derived shortening. A gullible public believed their advertising & bought the product.
No one knew at the time that Crisco's hydrogenated trans fat was going to kill folks by clogging their arteries. This was only proven in lawsuits about 20 years ago. Crisco was in most kitchens when I was a kid in the 1930s & 40s. My Mom always used it in her cooking.
In 1953, Dr. Ancel Keys demonized saturated fats (e.g. steak, chicken, pork, avocados, coconut oil etc) when he published a flawed study comparing fat intake & heart disease. Dr. Keys was not a medical doctor but had Ph.Ds in both biology & physiology. (He died at nearly age 101, so he must have inherited terrific genes from his ancestors.)
At that time, heart disease was nearly non-existent. There were only 500 cardiologist in the USA in 1950. Currently, heart disease is one of America's biggest cause of death. There are currently 30,000 cardiologists in the USA , a 60-fold increase for a population that has only doubled since 1950.
Dr. Keys based his theory, that saturated fat intake led to higher rates of heart disease, on data from only 6 countries (out of a universe of 28 countries.) Keys ignored the other 22 countries in the study which did not fit his theory.
Although Dr Keys was recently unmasked as a “quack,” many governmental agencies, like the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) recommends (as of December 2018) that daily saturated fat intake be held at an absurdly-low 7% of daily caloric intake. Amazingly, the American Heart Association still limits saturated fat daily intake, too. In my opinion, don't listen to these jerks. Eat plenty of saturated fat products from the health food store or expect numerous health problems in your future.
Although studies of indigenous tribes around the world prove that a high-saturated fat diet leads to low death rates from heart disease, these government bozos continue with their “we've always done it this way” policies. See examples of healthy indigenous tribes around the world with very a low death rate from heart disease:
Masai Tribe in Kenya & Tanzanis eats meat, milk & cattle blood, which is a 66% saturated fat diet Inuit Eskimos in the Arctic eat whale meat, seal & blubber, which is a 75% saturated fat diet Rendille tribe in NE Kenya eats camel milk, meat, blood which is 63% saturated fat. Tokealu tribe, on atoll islands in New Zealand, eat fish & coconuts which is 60% saturated fat.
To show how insane are the policies of the USDA, remember that mothers' milk contains 54% saturated fat, which greatly exceeds the 7% daily requirement of the ignorant government bureaucrats.
The following foods contain saturated fats. Most of my diet (80%+) consists of saturated fats. 1 Fish & other meet (beef, chickens, pigs, birds, bison etc.) Olives & olive oil Coconuts & coconut oil Butter Raw nuts, like almonds & pecans Egg yolks Avocados
Organic, extra-virgin coconut oil is a saturated fat that's a healthy cooking oil. Two meals a day, I slowly drink a glass full of organic extra-virgin coconut oil mixed with a teaspoon of Glycine, an amino acid. Swish it around in your mouth for 20 seconds before swallowing. This coconut oil is about 84% saturated fat. As I've mentioned twice before, this year, this combination eliminated 100% of my brain fog. Most supplements work synergistically. Glycine worked in combination with the 30-plus other vitamins, minerals, amino acids etc. I swallow every day.
Olive oil is great as a salad dressing, but should not be used as a cooking oil.
Never eat unhealthy trans-fat margarine or vegetable oil spreads unless you're planning on having heart problems in the future.

Any meat is healthy to eat as long as it isn't raised in confinement factory conditions, where the animals seldom ever see the light of day & eat GMO feed full of growth hormones & antibiotics. You'll find most of this meat in the supermarket.
The healthiest meat is pasture-raised or free-range, which is free of growth hormones, antibiotics & GMO feed. In Oklahoma, organic, ground Bison is available at health food stores for $7.50 to $10 a pound. I buy my growth-hormone-free & antibiotic-free meat at Sprouts.

Art Youmans, “Following the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Guide Pyramid Can Kill Your Brain,” 1 October 2019
A 1996 “Food Guide Pyramid” (a guide to daily food choices) recommends “6 to 11 daily servings of bread, cereal, rice & pasta,” for optimal health. If you follow this bad advice you'll become obese & your brain will be put at risk for dementia in your future.
This Food Guide Pyramid was adapted from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion, Home and Garden Bulletin Number 252, 1996.
In his 2013 best-selling book, “Grain Brain,” which became a New York Times bestseller with more than 1.5 million copies sold, board certified neurologist, David Perlmutter M.D. claims that bread, cereal, rice & pasta can destroy your brain, leading to neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's Disease. Today's grain, from which bread products are made, has undergone more than 25,000 genetic modifications since your ancestors lived side-by-side with sabertooth tigers.
In short, Dr. Perlmutter is saying wheat (bread), carbohydrates & sugar are “toxic substances that are poisoning our brains,” leading to brain conditions ranging from headaches, anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia & even dementia.
Dr. Perlmutter believes that the condition of your brain is determined by the foods you eat. In my opinion it's also determined by both your vitamin & mineral supplements like Choline, Glycine etc., plus by the foods you avoid that are high on the glycemic (sugar) scale.
The Mayo Clinic revealed that older folks who filled their plates with carbohydrates (bread, pastas, rice etc.) had nearly four times the risk of developing mild cognitive impairment (MCI), generally-considered a precursor to Alzheimer's disease. (“Journal of Alzheimer's Disease,” fall 2012)
Dr. Perlmutter also believed that the gluten in bread & other carbohydrates is one of the worst stimulators of “inflammatory pathways that reach the brain.” He believes we should eat more healthy fats like those found in fish, olives & olive oil, avocados & nuts.
The human brain is more than 70% fat, so fat plays an important role in regulating the immune system. Good fats, like omega-3s & fats from olives, avocados, butter etc. reduce inflammation & assist fat soluble vitamins, like A, D, E & K get absorbed by your body.
Dr. Perlmutter, who updated “Grain Brain” in 2018, has had patients relieve chronic fatigue, brain fog, bi-polar disorder etc & reverse type-2 diabetes simply by eliminating gluten from their diet & replacing gluten by healthy fats.
The doctor believes “you are what you eat.”
The more carbohydrates & sugar you eat, the sooner you will experience poor health & an early death.
Of course, unwilling to admit that they were influenced by grain lobbyists to include bread & pasta in the food pyramid, the Department of Agriculture considers Dr. Perlmutter as another “food quack.” Anyone who disagrees with the government is always a “quack” in Uncle Sam's eyes.

Art Youmans, “The Ketogenic (AKA Keto) Diet,” 8 October 2019
In 1921, Dr. Russel Wilder at the Mayo Clinic coined the term, ketogenic diet,” (AKA “Keto diet”) to describe a high-fat, low-carbohydrate diet that cured 60% of epileptics & lessened the rate of seizures by 95%.
This was an amazing cure rate for epilepsy, a disease that, previously, had been thought incurable. The fact that a disease could be prevented or cured by a change in diet has been forgotten by a public., dumb-down to believe by fake health news promoted by a Big Pharma-controlled FDA (Food & Drug Administration), that bread & other carbohydrates are actually good for you. The truth is that the more bread & other carbohydrates you eat, the shorter your life, the sicker you'll become in the future & the more Big Pharma drugs (with side effects) your doctor will prescribe for you.
The purpose of the Keto diet was to reach ketosis, a metabolic process that happens when your body uses fat instead of carbohydrates for energy. This can be accomplished if you greatly restrict daily carbohydrates & greatly increase your daily protein & fat intake.
In 1972 & in a 1992 updated edition, Dr. Robert Atkins championed a similar low-carbohydrate diet similar to Dr. Wilder's ketogenic diet, in his best-selling book, “Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution.” The main difference was that Dr. Atkins allowed a patient up to 50 grams of carbohydrates a day, the equivalent of nearly 4 four-inch pancakes, while Dr. Wilder allowed a much lower figure of 15 grams a day. “The book, Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution,” sold more than 15 million copies. Unfortunately, Dr. Atkins proved that bad luck is always present, when you design a perfect diet to extend your life to 100. In 2003, at age 72, Dr. Atkins slipped on an icy New York City sidewalk outside his medical clinic, slammed his head on the ice-covered concrete & died about 6 days later in the hospital, proving, once again, that bad things can happen to good people. Black ice can be deadly.
Since it was proven that the body can run healthier on fats (e.g. meat & butter) than carbohydrates (e.g. bread, cereals, alcohol), the Ketogenic diet (AKA Keto diet) has become popular in the United States.
Weight loss is not the only benefit of the Keto diet. Other benefits are increased mental clarity, protection against or fighting cancer or diabetes, increase in physical performance, clearer skin & more energy. However, if pregnant, breastfeeding, or have kidney stones or gallbladder problems, check with your doctor before changing your diet.
There are five (5) main types of Keto diets. Most folks follow the STANDARD KETO DIET that allows only a 5% daily carbohydrate intake. This diet is too restrictive for me, so I follow the CYCLICAL KETO DIET which allows healthy, non-processed carbohydrates like berries, sweet potatoes & carrot juice. HIGH PROTEIN KETO DIET is geared for people with obesity. TARGETED KETO DIET aids bodybuilders in gaining muscle. The RESTRICTED KETO DIET (RKD) is effective in fighting cancer. It allows only 12 grams of carbohydrate, daily. A 2010 study showed that a patient with brain cancer had no signs of mutated brain tissue after 2 months on the RKD diet.
With any Keto diet, you want your fats (e.g. meat, butter, eggs etc.) to be organic, grass-fed, wild caught or free-range, if possible. About half my fats (butter, coconut oil, almond butter, olives & eggs) are organic.
Examples of excellent fats to eat on a Keto diet include: Organic extra-virgin coconut oil (I teaspoon full per meal), MCT oil, Almonds or Almond butter, Butter, Avocados, Olives, Cheese, Olive oil, Nuts, Ghee, Sugar-free chocolate, Sour cream & Bacon fat from bacon.. NOTE: Olives are all organic. They're the only fruit or vegetable that no one has ever been able to genetically-modify.
Below are shown recommended protein foods to eat (& not eat) when on a Keto diet. Always: Fatty fish (salmon, sardines, mackerel) Low-carb shellfish (shrimp, crab, lobster) Poultry (dark meat) Beef Lamb Pork (Ham is tasty in your Denver omelet.) Bison Organ meat (liver, tongue, tripe) Full-fat dairy (milk, butter, yogurt) Sometimes: Poultry (white meat) Bacon Whey protein powder Low-fat dairy (milk, butter, yogurt) Tofu Pasture-raised eggs (I buy mine for $2.50/dozen from an organic chicken farmer who runs a house cleaning business that cleans my floors twice a month.) Greek yogurt
Never: Cold cuts (ham, turkey) Cured meats (salami, pepperoni, prosciutto) Breaded meat In general, these are the only vegetables recommended for a Keto diet Always: Leafy greens (spinach, kale, arugula, romaine, Swiss chard, mustard greens, collard greens) Bok choy Asparagus Cauliflower Broccoli, Celery, Mushrooms, Sprouts (alfalfa, bean) Cucumbers Summer squash (zucchini, yellow) Sometimes: Bell peppers (Have them in your morning omelet.) Carrots Onions (Good in your Denver omelet.) Eggplant, Broccoli Brussels sprouts, Jicama Fennel Never: Ginger, Sweet potatoes (However, I've added them to my Keto diet.) Potatoes ,Leek, Corn Beets Winter squash (butternut, pumpkin, spaghetti) Artichoke FRUITS Look for low-carb, organic fruit.if possible. Sometimes: (I still plan to eat these often.) Medium-Chain Fatty acids (MCFAs), like those found in extra-virgin organic coconut oil, are extremely healthy for your body. Every time you take a spoonful of extra virgin organic coconut oil, ketone (good) “bodies” are created in the liver, reducing your appetite.
I take 1 tea spoon full of extra virgin organic coconut oil with meals, twice a day. If you're overweight or want to feel more alert, you'd be wise to consider a extra virgin organic coconut oil supplement to your meals.

According to two doctors, Steven Gundy M.D. & Joseph Mercola, D.O., Lectins in our food supply are one of the main reasons that so many folks are overweight, waiting rooms have double-wide chairs & hospitals have gurneys for 400- pound patients.
Lectins neutralize the hormones that tell us when we're full at a meal. With no “governor” on our appetite, we keep eating & snacking all day & soon qualify for a double-wide chair.
Lectins also damage our arteries & make us more likely to have blood clots. A high Lectin diet is strongly associated with being a contributing cause of autoimmune disorders, like rheumatoid arthritis & can affect your gut by negatively-shifting the balance of your bacterial flora. Anyone with an autoimmune disease should try to minimize intake of Lectins as close to zero in their diet.
If you have a problem with your thyroid it could be caused by a diet, top-heavy in Lectins.
Cooking with a pressure cooker neutralizes most of the Lectins & is recommended by Dr. Mercola.
A pressure cooker is better than just boiling to eliminate Lectins.

Most all plant food contains Lectin. Large pieces of plastic from bottles, bags & other visible plastic breaks down into small, often tiny fragments & fibers, you can barely see, when in the sea.
All over the world, plastic trash is dumped into the sea & is eaten by the fish you eat.
Just like it will take another 15 years to determine how your eating glyphosate (from RoundUp) causes cancer, it will take similar time to determine how eating fish (probably-filled with plastic) might harm your liver & other toxin-filtering organs.
In case your don't realize it, you are a guinea pig.
According to National Geographic, “Every year, five million to 14 million tons (of plastic) flow into our oceans from coastal areas. Sunlight, wind, waves & heat break down that material into smaller bits that look like—to plankton, bivalves, fish and even whales—a lot like food.”
Tests done on farmed fish show that even they are contaminated with plastic. A study, published in 2004, showed farmed salmon had harmful polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) levels eight times that of wild salmon. (I plan to write a weekly newsletter about the benefits of eating wild salmon, in January, 2020.)
I recall an Internet story in 2018 about a young whale that washed up on a U.S. Beach earlier this year. An autopsy discovered 36 pounds of plastic in its stomach.
At Columbia University, a scientist examined a shrimp she had just purchased at a market & found 7 pieces of plastic in its gut.
There is no data available on what plastic will do to you eating ocean fish, but there is available data on how the plastic harms the liver & endocrine (hormone) systems of fish. In my opinion, if plastic can kill a fish, enough of it can kill a human or, at the least, harm their liver, kidneys & other detoxing organs.
The seas will never be cleaned up, just like the air will never be cleaned up because the world's largest polluter, China, won't ever stop polluting the air with heavy metals & seas with plastic. China causes 50% of the world's air pollution, which floats with the wind over America & other countries. A big plastic producer, China likely contributes greatly to the plastic in the ocean.
Plastic like plastic bags & bottles will never be outlawed by permissive governments because of strong plastic lobbying firms.
Therefore, you might wish to forget about eating farmed fish, like tuna, salmon & shrimp, in the future.
I wouldn't eat farmed fish on a bet, but wild fish is okay once or twice a week. Currently, fresh-water fish like trout is probably okay, as U.S lakes & streams are less polluted than the ocean, but in 10-15 years, the U.S.'s fresh water will also be polluted as badly as the ocean, in my opinion.
Eliminating plastic straws is a good start, but always remember there are always unintended consequences of every action you take.
According to “USA Today,” a 60-year-old plastic straw-hating enviro activist in Broadstone, England named Lena, accidentally killed herself when she fell while holding a mason jar with a fixed lid with a metal drinking straw poking through the lid.

The marine animals who die faster from plastic consumption are the sea turtles, seals, sea lions, ocean fish, whales & dolphins...all of which mistaken plastic for food. Farmed salmon is a toxic junk food, about 5 times more toxic than any other food tested, according to Joseph Mercola, D.O. (SOURCE: “Why Farmed Salmon are a Toxic Junk Food,” Mercola.com)
PCB (plastic) concentrations in farmed salmon is 8 times greater than in wild salmon. Half of all salmon sold worldwide are farmed salmon, which are fed a high chemical, high fat, high protein feed to produce larger fish, which I consider frankenfish.
The most significant reason for the toxic exposure of farmed fish is the dry pellet feed they're fed, which contains dioxins, PCBs & other toxic pollutants Because 2 million+ fish crammed into a small offshore enclosure breeds disease, the fish are fed a huge amount of antibiotics & other harmful stuff you eat when you dine on farmed fish.
These grim facts are revealed in Nicolas Daniel's documentary, “Fillet-Oh-Fish,” about fish farming across the globe. The documentary shows that when you eat farmed salmon you are ingesting a deadly chemical cocktail with huge amounts of omega-6, which is much more (about 5.5 times) than a human needs.
Half a fillet of wild Atlantic salmon contains about 3,996mg of omega-3 & 341mg of omega-6. In comparison, half a fillet of farmed salmon from the Atlantic contains a bit more omega-3, 4,961mg, but 1,944 mg, a huge amount of omega-6.
Farmed salmon has 2 to 3 times more fat than wild salmon. Monsanto developed a pesticide in the 1950s called Ethoxyguin which is used to prevent fats from oxidizing & going rancid in fish feed, adding to the toxins flooding your fat cells, when you foolishly-eat farmed fish.
Testing reveals that farmed fish can contain up to 20 times higher levels of Ethoxyguin as is allowed in fruit, vegetables & other meat.
Dr. Joseph Mercola, had this to say about farmed salmon. “Farmed salmon typically have at least 10 times more cancer-causing pollutants than do their wild counterparts...(Farmed salmon) are pumped full of antibiotics and chemicals to fend off parasites like sea lice, along with drugs and hormones to accelerate growth etc,” SOURCE: Report “Exposing the Dangers of Mercury,” Joseph Mercola D.O., pages 10-12,
My advice is to avoid farmed salmon or cod or any other farmed fish, unless you have a death wish.
Farmed fish is full of Monsanto's Ethoxyguin, PCBs & other stuff that is harmful to you.
I know of no restaurant in Tulsa that serves wild fish, so, from the Internet, I've learned how to cook wild fish at home. Googling “How to cook wild salmon or wild cod” will give you a start.
From experience, pan-fried wild salmon is the best way for you to cook wild fish. If you use a cooking oil, use an organic, non-GMO oil. (I use an organic, non-GMO Avocado oil.) I've also tried microwaving & baking wild salmon, but neither of these give you the wonderful taste than pan-frying provides.
After getting my salmon to room temperature (15 minutes out of the refrigerator, & coating it with organic extra-virgin olive oil, I heat my enameled cast iron frying pan to medium heat after I lightly-coat the bottom of the pan with non-GMO Avocado oil. I put the salmon into the hot frying pan skin-side up. I cook for about 4 minutes & then turn over with a plastic cooking spatula & cook up to 3 minutes more or less when the salmon easily flakes apart when you lightly touch it with a spoon. I'll serve the salmon with a vegetable, like Brussels sprouts, okra or string beans and hummus.
I learned the hard way, nearly three years after Betty's passing, trying to cook with butter in a medium-sized, (10.5” diameter), enameled cast iron pan. Twice, I filled the house with smoke. The wild salmon was great, but it took 2 hours for the thick smoke to clear. Luckily, my smoke alarm wasn't activated. I've used organic cooking oil since then. Hey, no one's born a good cook!
Stock up on wild salmon & freeze it, when Sprouts or another health food store features wild salmon on sale for $5.99 a pound. It's much higher in cost elsewhere. At Tulsa's Whole Foods, Wild Salmon is $8.99/pound for Amazon Prime members & $12.99 for others (at time of writing this newsletter.) Wild cod is about $7.99/lb at Whole Foods, Tulsa. In my opinion, wild cod is tasteless, but wild salmon is the best fish I've ever tasted, with trout, covered with butter, a close 2nd.
Alaskan salmon is wild salmon. By law, no fish farms can exist in Alaska. If you wish, you can always buy frozen wild salmon in bulk over the Internet, but it's a lot of trouble figuring out the cost per pound. My calculations show it's much more expensive on the Internet
unless you buy in 20 pound packages.
There are many types of wild salmon, including king salmon, coho salmon, sockeye salmon, pink salmon, Atlantic salmon, keta salmon & many more. Keta is among the least expensive salmons, so that's likely what you're getting when you buy wild salmon at the health food store.
Chile is the 2ndlargest producer of farmed salmon & uses an unregulated amount of antibiotics in their feed for the fish, which harms your gut bacteria. If you ever eat farmed salmon, make sure it doesn't come from Chile. Farmed salmon from Norway or Canada would be a safer choice, with many less antibiotics.
Wild salmon or wild cod is always better for your health, twice a month, if you can afford it.
I recently bought 8 cans of wild sardines (4.375 oz) on sale at Tulsa's Natural Grocers health food store for $1.79 each. In a similar sized can, I noted that wild mackerel sold for $2.39 for a 4.4 oz can. Each can is a meal for me along with an avocado, salad or vegetable(s). I always use extra virgin organic olive oil for salad dressing & follow the meal with supplements & the amino acid, Glycine, a powder, mixed in organic extra-virgin coconut milk with a sprinkle of Ceylon cinnamon powder & organic cacao (organic chocolate). I drink the Glycine drink, very, very slowly, in an 8-ounce glass after any 2 meals a day.
Everyone leaves this world sooner or later. When I reluctantly leave it, pan-cooked wild salmon & trout will be in the top ten things I'll dream about, when strumming a harp, up above. Over the past few years, I've adjusted my diet to try to squeeze a few more years out of my life. A 2014 Telomere blood test predicted my immune system would be unprotected by age 89. Without a strong immune system a common cold can evolve into deadly pneumonia. My hypothesis is that a changed diet & improved lifestyle can keep Father Time at bay for a while. The moment of truth is not so far off. I'll be age 88 in less than 2 months. If I live to at least 90, I feel that all the vitamins, minerals, amino acids, Keto/Paleo non-GMO diet were well worth the investment in both time & money.

Raw, minimally-processed cacao beans are a chocolate super food from South America, full of minerals like magnesium, potassium, iron, calcium, zinc, copper & manganese.
Cacao beans have high amounts of phytochemicals & flavonoids which protect the cells in your body from free radicals (that cause diseases like cancer), & oxidation, which can cause premature aging.
Cut an apple into pieces. Thirty minutes later you can see what oxidation does to the apple as it ages. Unless protected by nutrients, your face could look 90 years old, tomorrow.
Cacao beans also help your brain from harm during aging, lower blood pressure, protect your heart & regulate insulin levels.
I get my cacao from cacao powder that I buy online at vitacost.com. I've tried cacao nibs, but the taste was too sour for me. I mix a half-teaspoon of cacao powder in an 8-ounce glass of organic coconut milk to get a chocolate milkshake, with 2 meals a day. I also add a teaspoon of glycine powder & a shake (from a salt shaker) of Ceylon cinnamon.
Always remember that the more processed a food is, the less nutrition the food has. This applies to the cacao bean.
Manufacturers dry & ferment the cacao beans at low temperature to separate the fatty part of the bean to make white cacao butter or mill it into cacao powder.
What is left over is heated at high temperatures, which kills many of the nutrients, & produces cocoa.
In lab tests, cacao powder has 3.67 times more antioxidants than does cocoa powder. Antioxidants keep you healthy by fighting disease.
100 grams of raw cacao powder had an antioxidant capacity of 95,500 compared to cocoa powder with a lower antioxidant capacity (ORAC) of only 26,000. Cacao nibs tested out at an antioxidant capacity of 62,100, much better than cocoa, but about 30% less antioxidants than cacao powder.
The major problem with cocoa is not only the lack of nutrients from high processing temperatures, but the fact that manufacturers load up a package of cocoa with unhealthy ingredients, like added sugars artificial sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup, emulsifiers, fillers etc.
Some of the fillers, like powdered milk, bring down production costs & add sweetness in both cocoa & dark chocolate. However, dairy products, like powdered milk, block your
ability to absorb the cocoa or dark chocolate effectively.
Always check labels for sugars & fillers. If you have to have your chocolate fix, be sure & get a dark chocolate bar with at least 70% cacao.

Over the past 3 years, I've likely mentioned twenty times the toxic stuff that food processors are allowed to put in the packaged food we buy at the supermarket, in a vending machine or online.
This toxic stuff includes the use of emulsifiers, which are substances added to packaged goods to prevent separation of ingredients. These chemical emulsifiers keep vinegar & oil from separating in salad dressing, for example, but also escalate inflammation & may lead to colitis, metabolic syndrome, impaired blood glucose control, increase anxiety & harm your gut microbiome, where 80% of your immune system lives.
Enforcement employees of governmental agencies, like the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) & U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), should be in jail for the harm they are doing to unsuspecting consumers by allowing food manufacturers carte blanche to use harmful additives in packaged foods.

Butylated Hydroxyanisole (BHA)... and Propyl Gallateare also some additives you want to be especially cautious of. “Bottom line is that this is all yet another reason why the smartest approach is just to cut the use of packaged foods as much as possible and go for whole, natural, organic foods instead!”
One of my in-laws (now deceased) had his first stroke at my house about 44 years ago. A career navy man, he hated cooked food & vegetables & told me that he ate every meal from a vending machine on the aircraft carriers on which he was based for over 20 years.
I am sure that the additives in the packaged food he ate contributed to his premature death. My advice is to do this before buying anything in a package. READ THE LABEL.
If the package lists any of the previously-mention toxic chemicals, don't buy it.
If the package lists ingredients that you never heard of, don't buy it.
Most everything packaged by a food manufacturer is bad for you. Most likely, it's also loaded with sugar & salt, both preservatives, that give the product longer shelf life.
Extend your life by avoiding packaged food & most bottled & canned drinks & your stomach & brain will thank you for it. Most packaged food is processed, refined & full of cheap & artificial ingredients, is covered with pesticides & the factory-farmed meat is packed with growth hormones & antibiotics which injure your immune system in the gut. Instead of buying packaged food at the supermarket that will harm you, buy real food (e.g. vegetables & meat etc,) that is minimally-processed & cook it yourself.
A friend, who scrapes the battery posts of my car every 18 months, pours coca-cola on the battery posts to dissolve the white corrosion. If the harsh chemicals in coca-cola are strong enough to destroy toxic corrosion, think what Coke is doing to your poor stomach when you drink these chemicals. All soft drinks are toxic. In addition to making you fat, Dr. Pepper uses a flame retardant (normally found in padded chairs & sofas) for flavoring.
Drink water. It's cheaper than soda & won't harm your immune system. Use soda for only removing corrosion from your battery.

If poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning (who wrote the famous sonnet, “How Do I Love Thee?”) were alive, she might write a poem about the multiple ways that America’s politicians are planning to sucker punch you & me, in the next 4 years.
Since one political party controls both houses of Congress & the Presidency, it becomes easy to avoid the safeguards to personal liberty spelled out in the U.S. Constitution & Bill of Rights.
President Franklin Roosevelt set a precedent by issuing Executive Order 9066, depriving Japanese American of their liberty on February 18, 1942 by forcing them into concentration camps on American soil. Having control of Congress & the Presidency could allow future re-education camps, like Chairman Mao used in the 1970s, for political dissidents.
President Obama set another precedent by signing Executive Order 13603, a blueprint for a federal takeover of the U.S. economy during “the full spectrum of emergencies.” This ambiguous Executive Order says nothing about upholding the U.S. Constitution or Bill of Rights & protecting civil liberties & was issued March 16, 2012.
Executive Order 13603 describes a potentially-totalitarian government, in the event of an emergency, including a disease like COVID-19.

NOTE: If one political party controlled the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives, & the Presidency at the same time, they could increase the number of Justices in the U.S. Supreme Court to any number that would give them control of the highest court in the USA. They could also vote state status to Washington, D.C., & the other five (5) highly-democrat-voting territories of the United States, like Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands & U.S. Virgin Islands, that have a permanent, nonmilitary population. This would give them control of the U.S. Senate, forever.
