During the past 100 years, most of America’s topsoil has been blown away into river & oceans by the wind. The land has been further depleted of vitamins & minerals by over-farming & several key nutrients have been lost to pesticides & herbicides, then reduced even further by transport, storage & cooking.
The bottom line is that it’s impossible to get the recommended daily amount of many nutrients from food. For example, there is barely any of the mineral, selenium, left in the agricultural soil on the east coast due to over-farming. Fruits & vegetables grown in this depleted soil will have few vitamins & minerals in them.
Bring on the vitamin & mineral supplements.
Start off with a natural multivitamin. Ask your doctor for a recommendation. Most supplements are taken with or directly after a meal. Remember that water-soluble vitamins, like B & C stay in the body for only 3-4 hours & should be replaced with each meal. Fat-soluble vitamins, like A, D & E stay in the body all day.
If your doctor tells you, “You get all the vitamins & minerals in the food you eat & drink,” consider getting a new doctor whose ideas are not 100 years behind the times.
Read labels. Avoid supplements that list artificial flavor, artificial coloring or sugars (ingredients ending in “ose”) Natural flavor is Okay.
I like to save a buck whenever I can. So I buy most of my vitamins & minerals online & save about 40%.

My favorite vitamin is a natural B-Complex produced by Life Extension called “BioActive Complete B-Complex,” 60 capsules per bottle. I pay 9 bucks a bottle & buy them online from Vitacost.com, & take 1 capsule immediately after each meal.
Since I want to have maximum protection for my brain & heart, I also take a sublingual (dissolves under the tongue) natural Source Natural cherry-flavored “Methyl-cobalamin” B-12 tablet/lozenge 5mg, immediately after each meal. ($12.74 for 60 tablets) I buy these at Vitacost.com, too.
Since B vitamins (like vitamin C) are water soluble, they stay in the bloodstream for only 3 to 4 hours, so they must be replaced regularly at meals.
Below are reasons that I take a natural B-Complex & B-12 Vitamin Supplement & believe that anyone over age 50 or anyone, younger, suffering a stroke or early signs of dementia should consider natural B-Complex vitamins. (NOTE:I had a mild, confirmed heart attack at age 48.)

In previous e-mails, I’ve mentioned that I’ve been taking vitamin B-Complex since the late 1950s, & that it helped raise my I.Q. score (on a 3-hour I.Q. test) by more than 9% in 1963 or so. It might do the same for you! On a short 45-minute Mensa I.Q. test that I flunked, B-vitamins helped raise my score an additional 10.8% in 1965.
My 2nd favorite vitamin is vitamin C.
I take two forms of vitamin C. The 1stis a morning packet of 1,000mg Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C (30 bucks for 30 packets) about 15 minutes before breakfast, & Dr. Mercola’s Liposomal Vitamin C 1,000 encoated pill ($14.97 for 60 capsules) after lunch & supper. Both are not affected by the digestive enzymes in the stomach that can destroy 7/8th of vitamin C in a normal tablet or capsule. I buy both online at VitaCost.com.
Lypo-Spherc or encoated vitamin C are one of the very few vitamins or minerals that you can buy that is not partially-destroyed by the powerful gastric juices in the stomach.
Vitamin C kills the bad stuff in your bloodstream like bacteria & viruses (NOTE: cancer is a virus.)
I became interested in Vitamin C after reading 2 books about Vitamin C, written by double Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling, Ph.D., more than 20 years ago.
NOTE: Always remember that your lifespan is determined 25% by heredity, & 75% by what you put into or on your body. Smoking & tobacco products can take 5 years off your life. Excess booze can take up to 7 years off your life. Natural vitamins, like vitamins B & C, can increase your lifespan & give you a better quality of life.
My hope is that when you are near or exceed my age (85-1/2), you will follow the example of Sir Winston S, Churchill, who said this in 1954, “I am near the end of my journey. I hope to be able to perform more services for humanity before I go.” Churchill died in 1965 at age 90.
He was 5' 8” tall & weighed 300 pounds. Amazing that his weight never killed him before 90.

In the early 1960s, I raised my I.Q. six (6) points on a 3-hour Western Electric test & an additional 14 points when I flunked the Mensa test (5 years later) by taking Vitamin B-complex sextra methyl-cobalamin B-12 sublingual.
I had read an article in “Prevention” magazine about how this water-soluble vitamin B-complex protects the brain. It worked for me. Maybe it will work for you. Being water soluble, this vitamin, ideally, should be taken with/after each meal.
(Only fat-soluble vitamins, like A, D & E are stored in the body’s fat.) Brain shrinkage is caused by a nasty substance called homocysteine which poisons the brain, killing so many brain cells that the brain loses size and function.
As you age, this shrinking usually starts in the hippocampus, which is your brain's "memory center" but it can spread to other regions. This affects your ability to recall important dates and facts ... or to remember names and faces ... or even the right words in conversation. Sometimes, you'll walk into a room and blank-out, wondering why you're there.
What Causes High Homocysteine? Homocysteine is elevated in the brains of people who are deficient in B vitamins. In fact, these vitamins are so important to your memory and cognitive function that the "B" should stand for "brain."
Here's proof...Scans show that people who are deficient in B vitamins display the smallest brains and the lowest scores on tests for memory, concentration, and other cognitive abilities.
On the other hand, older people with high levels of B-complex vitamins have bigger, healthier brains and score higher on cognitive tests. NOTE: YOUR BRAIN WILL ALSO SHRINK EVERY TIME YOU ARE DEHYDRATED…SO DRINK LOTS OF WATER EVERY DAY.
The rule of thumb is to drink half your body weight in ounces. (If you weigh 120 pounds, drink 60 ounces of water every day.) Selenium is one of the many minerals that your body needs daily.
Some folks believe that selenium-deficient soil, especially in eastern U.S. farmland, is responsible not only for high U.S. cancer rates, but also for pregnant women, deficient in selenium, more likely to give birth to children with Multiple Sclerosis & Muscular Dystrophy. (If the vitamin or mineral is not in the soil, it won’t be in the vegetable or fruit grown in that soil.)

Words of wisdom from Dr. Pauling’s book: Vitamin C fights bacterial and malignant (cancer) cells and should be taken by proactive people in a dose of 1,000 to 10,000 milligrams per day. (pages 132-133)
“Such an intake should decrease the chance of contracting the common cold or influenza and, if a viral infection (flu) is contracted, should prevent a secondary bacterial infection from developing.”
Vitamin C is far more effective at the early stages of cancer than in the terminal stage. It could decrease cancer mortality by more than 10%. (page 331)
The medical profession is controlled by Big Pharma (the big drug companies like Pfizer & Merck & others)
.Big Pharma can’t patent natural vitamins. Since Big Pharma can’t make money off vitamins & since vitamins compete with drugs & are a form of self-medication, the medical profession will seldom publish anything positive about vitamins& mineral supplements.(page 275)
And when a vitamin study financed by Big Pharma appears in print it usually is a study with a small sample (400) where the 400 people use only 200 mg of Vitamin C a day for 6 months.
Such as study should have a sample ten times larger & the sample should receive well over 1,000 mg every day for 2 years. (page 27)
Dr. Pauling also discusses EDTA Chelation Therapy for heart & artery diseases, where it can remove plaque from the arteries throughout the body & also remove heavy metals (lead, mercury, aluminum & others) from the body
. He recommends 2 IVs a week for ten weeks. (pages 213-216)
If you have a blocked artery, you’d be nuts not to investigate EDTA Chelation Therapy, now also available in pill form. I’ve been taking the pills for the past 5 weeks due to a blocked external Iliak artery in my left leg.
The pill cost is about 75 cents a day. Remember that an Ultrasound can find blockages onlyin veins whereas an MRI can locate blockages onlyin arteries.

Many doctors are ignorant about the benefits of natural vitamins & minerals, which they consider self-medication & will seldom recommend them to patients.
100 years ago, U.S. soil produced fruit & vegetables full of vitamins & minerals.
Today, most of the 8 to 10 feet of topsoil of 100 years ago is gone, due to erosion, chemical fertilizer & over-farming, now replaced with a few inches of vitamin & mineral-depleted topsoil in 2019.
In my opinion, if you get a third of the vitamins & minerals from a 2019 supermarket tomato, for example, that you would have gotten from a 1919 tomato, you’re lucky.
Some fruit & vegetables from east coast farms are entirely lacking in the mineral selenium, today.

Bob Livingston Alerts Whenever you go to any kind of medical facility for the first time, you're asked to fill out pages of information about your health issues. You're always asked about medications you take... and you're also asked to list any supplements.
Have you ever wondered if the health care provider really knows enough about those supplements — what they are for and how they should be used? Probably not.
We're supposed to trust the medical establishment while expecting practitioners to know about all aspects of healthy living. But they're never taught about supplements. Sure, they know vitamin E and omega-3s can thin the blood, so they advise you stop taking it before surgery.
Otherwise, they consider many nutrients a danger. Vitamin D? No sir, not without a prescription. Vitamin A? Beware. CoQ10? They consider it a waste. Dentists get angry if you mention it to them. Physicians are taught that not only do most natural supplements not work but they must prescribe chemical concoctions to cure what ails the patient. That's what they learn in medical training and what they know how to do. And when they do prescribe medications, they are playing right into the hands of the pharmaceutical industry.
Why medical professionals resist alternative medicine
A conventional doctor generally won't choose to go against the medical establishment because he thinks touting natural remedies can be risky. But while supplements are not regulated the same way as prescription drugs, they are heavily regulated. Quality control for the best manufacturers is stringent even though the mainstream would like you to believe it's not true. News reports constantly tell you how they've found this or that supplement that doesn't contain the ingredients on the label, or has more.
As far as supplements go, manufacturing standards are very strict and purity of contents is indeed regulated by law. Contamination with other ingredients (or bacteria), a lower percentage of the active ingredient than advertised, or just plain ineffectiveness have happened on occasion for low-quality manufacturers, but not in general.
The medical community seizes on those instances, even though we know that incorrect usage and allergic reactions from prescription drugs can have catastrophic and deadly results. Of course the news media generally — and conveniently — leave out that many drugs are fake, or tainted and either uninspected or blatantly allowed through to consumers.
How many people have died from taking even one nutrient? Zero.
For all the hand-wringing, predictions of catastrophe and strong-worded reservations,
a recent study of all poisonings shows there has not been a single death traced to the use of nutritional supplements. Meanwhile, prescription drugs — those properly prescribed — account for 128,000 deaths and 2.74 million serious adverse reactions each
A modern need
Many doctors wishfully think that people can get all the vitamins, minerals and nutrients they need to stay healthy from food. But just look at the chemical burden we're now under, and the shape of our population, and you can see that consuming "healthy diet" according to the mainstream isn't working. Optimal nutrition, the level required to prevent chronic degenerative diseases, simply isn't happening through food alone for most Americans.
This means that we need to supplement some of the things that have been deliberately taken from our diet (omega-3s) and what's missing (minerals from vegetables due to overfertilizing and overfarming).
The amount of any supplement you take and how often or for how long can also be factors you should consider. Even though supplements are made from natural ingredients, there are safe limits for many of the herbal supplements, although this doesn't necessarily apply to essential nutrients. For example, herbs that are intended for external use, such as comfrey, obviously should not be ingested. Also, what is safe for one person may not be for another, depending on your individual health situation.
Ensuring quality of supplements you take
When you buy vitamins, minerals or herbs, you should check that they are produced by reputable companies and are of consistently high quality. By law, manufacturers of dietary supplements are responsible for making sure their products are safe and claims on labels are accurate and truthful.
Because the Federal Drug Administration only acts if there is a complaint about safety or effectiveness of dietary supplements once they are on the market, independent testing organizations are filling the gap to ensure quality of supplements.
These organizations have labs that test products and validate that the manufacturer adheres to appropriate measures of purity, potency and bioavailability, and you can at any time ask to see a certificate of analysis from the seller of your supplements.
Symbols to look for include USP, the trademark of U.S. Pharmacopeia, an organization that sets standards for dietary supplements. NSF is another logo that assures the product has been tested by NSF International, a respected independent certification organization.
You don't want simply the absence of any sickness, which is what mainstream medicine tells you that you should want. No, you want optimal health. That means eating foods as close to their natural state as possible — raw whole foods — and using natural supplements to fill in where necessary, for example in the case of many vegetables without enough minerals because of the way they are farmed, or in the way of improving the health of the entire body.

Telomeres are the “caps” at the end of each chromosome in your body. Think of them like the protective “caps” at each end of your shoelaces.
Each cell in your body, if normal, contains 23 pairs of chromosomes, for a total of 46 chromosomes. Twenty-two of these pairs, called autosomes, look the same in both males & females. The 23rd pair are the sex chromosomes, that differ between males (XY) & females (XX).
Every time your chromosomes divide, the telomeres get shorter. Eventually, usually when you’re in old age, like me, your telomeres gradually disappear, cell division stops & your immune system is unprotected & you die.
Telomeres are essentially the “control switch” in your cells that controls aging. The longer your telomeres, the younger your body will be. When your telomeres finally disappear, after your chromosomes divide for the final time, your immune system weakens & life comes to an end.
Five years ago, I read about Dr. Elizabeth Blackburn, who discovered the telomerase enzyme in 1984. This “fountain of youth” enzyme can rebuild your telomeres, preventing shortening of the telomeres & in some cases lengthening them.
Although telomerase is the enyzme that can REBUILD your telomeres, it was discovered that telomerase is normally”turned off” in your body. The hunt began to discover telomerase activators, which can slow down aging.
My doctor took a vial of my blood & sent it to a lab for a telomere test that cost me $180 in 2014. The test revealed that my telomeres would completely disappear from my chromosomes at age 89. (I was age 82 at the time.)
Since my bucket list listed living to age 94, like my Dad, I began researching a plan to lengthen telomeres to get a few extra years out of my life.
Unfortunately, my doctor (an M.D. & Ph.D Nutrition) died in 2016, so I’ve been doing telomere research, alone, since then. I have discovered the following telomere facts, below.
There are newly-discovered telomerase activators that are proven to not only prevent the loss of the telomere, but to activate the enzyme, telomerase, & rebuild the telomeres. I am taking them all.
Do they work? Who knows? It's worth trying.
If you see me at family reunions when I’m 94, you’ll know they worked.
Florida doctor, Al Sears M.D., in his 5 volume online publication, “Dr. Sears’ Telomere Secrets,” recommends the following eight (8) nutrients as “Telomerase Activators.”
Resveratrol is a antioxidant & anti-inflammatory botanical compound that can penetrate the blood/brain barrier, has the ability to activate anti-aging genes called sirtuins. Sirtuins can cancel out effects of aging. Dr. Sears recommends at least 20mg resveratrol per day, with or without food to activate the enzyme telomerase,, which can make you younger.
Resveratrol is found naturally in raisins, purple grape juice, peanuts, mulberries, blueberries, pistachios, Eucalyptus trees, Japanese knot wood/weed so don't be shocked to see, on the bottle label that, for example, 50% of your resveratrol comes from Japanese knot weed extract or 35% from grape seed extract.
An extract of green tea, EGCG protects telomeres. Dr. Sears recommends a EGCG supplement from the health food store of 50mg daily. N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) is an important amino acid that has the ability to prevent cell death by activating the human telomerase gene, your “fountain of youth”
gene. Dr. Sears recommends taking 800-2,400 mg a day of NAC. I take my pills with food.
Vitamin E Alpha Tocopherol protects against telomere shortening by activating & restoring telomerase. Dr Sears recommends 400 I.U daily. I take mine with a meal.
Vitamin E Gamma Tocotrienol isone of four-lesser-known forms of Vitamin E that helps telomere length. It is found only in bottles of mixed tocotrienols. Dr. Sears recommends at least 20 mg per day.
Acetyl L-Carnosine helps keep telomeres healthy. Dr.Sears recommends 500 mg twice per day . L-Arginine, increases telomerase activity Dr Sears recommends 500 to 1,000 mg a day.
Vitamin C. A Japanese study found that raising the level of vitamin C in the cells could slow down the shortening of telomeres up to 62%. Dr. Sears recommends taking more than 540 mg per day. As Vitamin C is water soluble (it stays in your body for about 4-5 hours), I take 1,000 mg every 4-5 hours during the day.

Inventor Thomas Alva Edison was a visionary. Like Steve Jobs of Apple Inc., Al (as he was known in his family), could see the future & applied for 1,093 patents for new products that created future demand, and created millions of jobs.
We all have heard of Nostradamus, who predicted the future, but few remember Al's prediction about doctors, which he stated over a hundred years ago. See below:
“The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest her or his patients in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet, and in the cause and preventionof disease.”

I agree with Al that his prediction (above) will come true, but it may take another hundred years for that to take place in the USA & likely but a decade or less overseas.
Currently, Big Pharma (the drug companies) control the medical profession & partly-fund the U.S. medical schools & set curriculum focused on dispensing over $1.2 trillion in drugs annually, instead of stressing ways to prevent disease.
Big Pharma-controlled 175 (currently) U.S. medical schools are graduating drug pimps, in 2019, not doctors. All that most general practitioner (GP) doctors do during your 20-minute appointment is ask you how you feel, what your symptoms are & then give you a prescription for that symptom. They keep you hooked on coming back for a prescription renewal, with side effects, to earn their average GP annual reported income of about $167,000.
About 14 years ago, my general practitioner (GP) doctor noted that my total cholesterol was 207. She advised me to take Lipitor, a statin, to bring my cholesterol down & gave me a month's sample. Since it was free & my doctor suggested it, I was a jerk & took the drug for 30 days. It brought my total cholesterol down to 150.
My doctor was excited & wanted to write another prescription which I refused. I had done research on the Internet that stated that statins were dangerous, since they not only reduced total cholesterol but they also reduced the amount of Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) in your liver. This was dangerous. My high density lipoprotein (HDL) was 60, so I had no need for a cholesterol-lowering pill, for my ratio of HDL to total cholesterol was only 3.45, far under the problem ratio of 4.5.
I believe that statins are a dangerous, unnecessary drug that can harm you. If you now take a statin, know that there is much information available on the Internet that shows how dangerous these drugs are.
CoQ10 helps heart cells produce energy by increasing the amount of blood the heart can pump, meaning your organs get more oxygen & nourishment. CoQ10 helps protect your mitochondria, the tiny energy “spark plugs” in your body's cells. Your heart has the highest concentration of mitochondria in your body. A bicep muscle has about 40 mitochondria per cell, compared to about 4,000 in a heart muscle cell.

The only anticholinergic drugs I've ever taken were some, like Demerol, given to me for pain by doctors for a few days after a hospital operation. According to Healthline.com, only 30% of an omega-3 capsule is made up of omega-3. The remaining 70% is made up of other fats, including some from plant sources, like alpha-linolenic acid (ALA).

This statement (above) was released by the U.S. Government in 1936, which has been fully-aware of the nutrient crisis, & done nothing about it for over 83 years, according to Al Sears, M.D., a South Florida doctor who's author of over 35 books & reports in the field of alternative medicine, anti-aging & nutritional supplementation.
Dr. Sears claims that “U. S. soil has been depleted of 85% more of its minerals in the past 40 years alone & the world has lost a third of its arable land due to erosion or pollution (NOTE: Half of all air pollution is from China).
Dr. Sears states that food is currently “nutritionally bankrupt,” & that Hippocrates, the father of medicine & author of the Hippocratic Oath, would be wrong, today, when he uttered these famous words, 2,500 years ago:
“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”
Big Agra, with about 20,300 U.S. factory farms in 2018, are stripping the land of its nutrients by not rotating crops to gain maximum profits & not letting fields have a season for recovery of nutrients. Non-agriculture factory farms have created a manure problem with pollution run-offs into streams, rivers & lakes & a stink in the air for many miles radius. I recall the foul smell from the pig farms in Secausus, New Jersey, from twenty miles away, when the wind shifted toward New York City in the late 1950s. An example of the factory farm animal manure problem is Iowa with 3 million people & 80 million farm animals.(If you go to Iowa, drink bottled water.)

Dr. Sears points out that “a University of Texas team compared U.S. Agriculture Department (USDA) figures from the past 70 years. They found huge declines in nutrient content for 43 common fruits and vegetables, including cabbage, lettuce, spinach and tomatoes. They discovered that almost 90% of the minerals were gone.”
Dr. Sears also believes that the government adding dangerously-high levels of synthetic vitamins & iron directly into food, like milk, cereals etc. produces toxic overload & increases the risk of obesity, fatigue, nerve damage, diarrhea, nausea, stomach cramps & diabetes.
I have visited many restaurants where the tomatoes are tasteless. That is because most of the nutrients are over-farmed out of them by Big Agra, which poisons crops with toxic pesticides, turning green fields into industrial warehouses & leaving once-fertile farmland barren of nutrients.
. There are about 911 million farmland acres in the U.S.A., 27 million of them foreign-owned. In a quest for maximum profits, Big Agra fields are NOT alternated between seasons to allow land to replenish its nutrients.
This makes it likely that the food you buy at your corner supermarket is lacking in nutrients, thanks to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) that protects Big Agra against the small farmer just like its sister evil agency, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) protects Big Pharma against natural cures, like stem cells & CBD oil.
The USDA is driving competitive small farmers out of business by red tape regulation. Their farms are often picked up at bargain prices by Big Agra, if large enough.
At this time, with the legislature power of the evil USDA & evil FDA & evil congress, which will pass many anti-consumer laws, like giving evil Monsanto (now Bayer) immunity from prosecution for Roundup, classifying stems cells as drugs etc. These evil folks are shortchanging the food you eat. Nutrients prevent disease.
In case you don't realize it, these corporate mega-farms harm your immune system, shorten your life & escalate the likelihood of your contracting every major disease, including Cancer, Heart Disease, Alzheimer's, Depression, Stroke, Diabetes, Influenza , Dementia etc.
Without nutrients, you are dangerously vulnerable to disease.
If you are wise, assume the agricultural food you eat is lacking in nutrients, whether or not it's grown organically or in a corporate mega-farm. If you grow the food in your backyard, it probably has all the nutrients that it had in 1936, so you don't need as many vitamins & minerals & amino acids as someone buying their produce in the corner supermarket.
My advice is to take natural vitamins, minerals & amino acids to compensate for those no longer in the supermarket food you eat. I buy most of my vitamins, minerals etc at Vitacost.com or Lifeextension.com. Avoid drug store vitamins which are usually synthetic & almost worthless.
If lazy, take only a one-a-day all-inclusive vitamin-mineral pill.
If not lazy, also take vitamin C, B-complex, D, E, a all-mineral pill & an all-essential amino acid pill. I buy my natural B-complex from Lifeextension.com which includes folate (essential for pregnant women to avoid miscarriage), methyl-cobalamin (natural) B-12, & other B vitamins.
With enemies like the USDA, FDA, congress & other crooks who shape the direction of our lives, we need all the help we can give our bodies to survive these government policies developed to increase the profits of Big Agra, Big Pharma & other huge conglomerates (like Monsanto), with enough pay-off money to get congressmen & women eager to vote into law anything they want.
Never depend on the government to always protect you. It is corrupted by money. Will Rogers was right when he joked, “We have the best congressmen that money can buy.”
Also, never depend on supermarket food, today in 2020, to supply the nutrients that your body needs.
These are things that you must do yourself.
How about planning, now, a future “Victory garden” in the spring?
I'm planning a small, elevated (to keep the squirrels & rabbits away) one in the backyard for organic okra, bell peppers & cherry tomatoes. If you grow crops in nutrient-rich soil, you'll get nutrient-rich okra, bell peppers & tomatoes with great taste.
If an old 88-year-old-weekly-newsletter-writing guy with one leg, congestive heart failure, wearing bifocals & hobbling around with lousy balance on a walker can plant a “Victory garden,” so can you!
The perfect solution to the problem of nutrient-lacking supermarket food is to replace the missing ingredients by a superfood like moringa oleifera (one tablespoon/day), the ground-up leaves of the Moringa tree, which is packed with essential amino acids, vitamins & minerals & protects against inflammation, toxins & disease. Eat at least 50% of your food raw, like vegetables, fruit & nuts to maintain an alkaline diet that fights disease. Eliminate most processed, refined & junk foods which are acidic & cause inflammation in your brain.
Buy only free-range, no antibiotic meats, chicken, pork or wild fish. Drink half your weight in ounces of water. If you do, when you sleep the water will carry away free radicals from your brain. If you're dehydrated from not drinking enough water, your brain shrinks, free radicals build up in the brain which leads to diseases like Alzheimer's. When my Dad lived in Florida his best friend was an M.D who prided himself on needing only 4 hours (instead of 7-8 hours) sleep every night & drank little water. This doctor developed Alzeimer's disease at age 69. After the doctor's wife went broke paying for the MD's hospitalization, Dad helped her qualify her husband for Medicaid.
If you're wise, you'll use this doctor as a bad example.
Get 7-8 hours sleep.
Drink lots of water.
Do the three things listed above as 1, 2 & 3.
If you do, expect to lead a life without dementia.
It's incredible that anyone can live a healthy life to age 100 with such nutrient-deficient & empty calorie foods we eat in the USA.

A weak immune system allows diseases, like cancer & parasites like viruses & most bacteria, that lead to pneumonia, to enter your body, grow & then kill you.
A weak immune system also allows toxins to destroy your brain & other organs.
Anyone who willingly eats empty calories, that weaken your immune system, is someone who's dumber than an idiot, in my opinion.
What Are Empty Calories?
“Foods & Drinks that contain no significant nutrients but are high in calories are said to have “empty calories.” These are mainly foods & drinks that have high sugar, fat or alcohol content, but little or no other nutritional value.” (SOURCE: “Everything you need to know about empty calories,” Medical News Today, 3 March 2020, Louisa Richards)
Empty calories are those that come from added sugars and solid fats, as well as some processed oils. These include: carbohydrate-based desserts, such as cakes, cookies, biscuits, donuts, muffins, granola bars, and more sugary drinks, including soda,energy drinks, and fruit juice candy bars, chocolate bars, and hard candies some meats (e.g. 25% fat hamburger), including bacon, sausages, and hot dogs some full fat products, such as butter, shortening, and ice-cream (I still buy organic butter at Whole Foods for cooking omelets, & spreading on baked sweet potatoes & don't plan to stop.) processed oils, such as soybean and canola oil condiments, such as ketchup and barbecue sauce fast food, including burgers, wraps, pizza, and more junk foods alcohol
Research done in 2012 discovered that male adults ate an average of 923 empty calories every day. Adult females were found to eat 624 empty calories per day. It was a shock to see that folks were killing themselves by eating nearly half their daily calories with empty-calorie foods.
Americans must be tough as nails to be able to survive into their 70s while eating nutrient-poor foods from factory farms plus empty calorie, immune system-destroying empty calorie foods.
My advice is to eat more raw vegetables & fruit, either organic or washed with Roundup remover.
Eat no processed, packaged food, like chips, sweetened products & read the product labels. Remember that half the products you find in a supermarket may be empty calories products .
Product labels are meant to confuse you. A soda is often marked in grams of sugar. For example, if a 20-ounce soda's label read that it contained 15 teaspoons of sugar, would you buy it? Probably not.
In Europe, where consumer groups are strong, & politicians are not as easily-bought, food labels are color-coded with a logo, indicating its health benefits, if any.
A green logo means that the food is good for you
A yellow logo means that the food is not good for you.

Big Food would never allow congress to allow this system to be applied in the U.S.A., because ultra-processed foods, like chips & other empty-calorie products that would have a red logo on the label, are huge profit-makers for them.
Why Empty Calories & Lack of Nutrients in American Food Can Kill You
Humans, fruit bats, guinea pigs, apes & fish are the only creatures that cannot produce their own Vitamin C to fight diseases, like COVID-19 coronavirus or dementia.

In the past they see trends
Then, using their judgment they base predictions of the future on the directions those trends will take us.
These brilliant forecasters of the future include Nostradamus, Jules Verne & George Orwell.
Both Verne & Orwell were writers. It's possible that both didn't realize that they were anything but science fiction writers. Whether they knew it or not, both hit the nail on the head with their predictions
Verne described future inventions like the submarine.
Orwell thought he was writing satirical novels, when he penned “1984” in 1949 & “Animal Farm” in 1945. What he was writing about in Animal Farm was a description of politics in the United States up through 2016, when everyone was equal, but the political party that controlled the presidency & the Senate or House of Representatives was more equal then others. Think of all the graft that went to friends of the party in control with Solyndra & the ObamaCare website boondoggles.
The trend, now, is away from a republic, where people are free to live with a Constitution & Bill of Rights, to a dictatorship as described in the novel “1984.”
The first step to a dictatorship was taken in 2012, when President Obama signed Executive Order #13603, that allowed a president to declare martial law in the event of a national emergency. During this national emergency the president could easily suspend the 1st Amendment, Freedom of Speech & the 2nd Amendment, The right to Bear Arms “temporarily.” Americans would, during Martial Law, be forced to turn over their guns to the government, which would likely immediately store them in wet locations where they would end up being too rusty to ever use again. This is exactly what New Orleans politicians did, during the Hurricane Katrina flooding, when they confiscated weapons during the emergency in 2005
Politicians will continue to brainwash the planet with more fake science, because many people are like face-masked chickens, running for their lives, in circles during an emergency. Don't be a fool & believe (without proof) all the B.S that is coming from the American & European B.S media.
Anyone who can convince the planet that the best way to avoid COVID-19 coronavirus is to continuously wash your hands, stay 6 feet or more from others, wear a face mask, close your non-essential business if you have one, stay home from work etc is a true, evil genius, as smart as Joseph Goebbels, the NAZI propaganda chief during WWII.

“Well,” the doctor replied, staring at the guy sitting in the double-wide, reinforced chair, “from the passive resistance to the British rule, in India, during the mid-1940s, we know that humans can live around 41 days without food but only 3 to 4 days without water. I suggest you starve yourself for 40 days & see what happens. Continue to drink water. “
The 400-pound guy scratched his head. Has anyone else ever fasted for 40 days & lived? This seems dangerous.”
The doctor smiled. “Sure it's dangerous. However it's only dangerous for you, not for me.”
Fighting COVID-19- coronavirus by any means but by strengthening your immune system, is as ridiculous, & dangerous, as the advice given by the doctor to the over-sized guy, above.
Staying home from work & closing down non-essential businesses is absurd. It will kill the economy & will result in a multi-government collapse with long lines at soup kitchens from Atlanta to Zanzibar, if continued too long, which is over one month.
It's quite possible that completely bankrupting the western world (which is mostly already bankrupted but doesn't even know it) is the objective of whomever is behind the media-exaggerated COVID-19 coronavirus panic that has most everyone in the USA scared to venture outdoors for fear of viral infection.
Hopefully, businesses will start up, very soon, before the economy collapses & before the current political party, now in power in the USA, gets voted out of office by a pissed-off public, when they realize that they've been deceived by the media exaggerations to believe COVID-19 coronavirus is the most deadly menace to mankind since the Bubonic Plague.
COVID-19, which originated in & escaped from a Chinese biological laboratory near Wuhan, China, is but one of 20,000 diseases on this planet for which there is no cure. If you really want something to be scared of, think of what U.S. Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC) was discussing with former Judge Jeanine Pirro on the Justice with Judge Jeanine TV show, on April 18th on the Fox News Network: “90% of medicines used in the USA are made in China.”
A STRONG IMMUNE SYSTEM is the only cure for all 20,000 of these deadly diseases with no known cure. A pharmaceutical cure by Big Pharma is extremely unlikely. The billion-dollar-race to find a vaccine to cure COVID-19 coronavirus is a bigger scam, by Big Pharma & publicized by the media, than anything Bernie Madoff or Charles Ponzi could invent.
A good start to strengthen your immune system is to toss out into the garbage all junk food (including toxic sodas) & processed food in your home. Supplement with natural vitamins that have been discussed in these reports for the past 4 years, get 8 hour sleep at night, drink half your weight in ounces of water every day, avoid cigarettes & other unhealthy habits etc.
Since copper or brass (which contains copper) kills viruses 24/7, it's simpler for women to wear copper bracelets on their wrists or copper rings on fingers, than washing their hands with soap & water every 10 minutes or so. Copper earrings protect the ears. Copper glass frames protect the nose & eyes etc. The more copper around you, the more viruses will be unable to infect you. Any metal combined with copper can protect you. I'm shocked that the B.S media doesn't bother to mention this fact when they discuss COVID-19.

Northwell Health, New York's latgest health care provider, is using vitamin C at its hospitals in conjunction with hydroxychloroquins (a malaria drug) and azithromycin (an infection & anti-bacterial drug.) (NOTE: According to 3-day old Google reports, from China, hydroxychloroquins was ineffective in curing COVID-19. Media hype said it was a silver bullet cure. It wasn't.)

In summary, most of the advice you read or hear in the news media to protect you against the COVID-19 coronavirus, like social distancing, washing hands, face masks etc. is nonsense & is likely supplied by Big Pharma, which is violently-opposed to any 100% reliable prevention advice reaching a dumbed-down public around the globe.
Don't be a jerk like most people. Consider liposomal vitamin C 1,000mg taken once with each meal. Vitamin C is water soluble & stays in the body only 4-5 hours killing viruses & bad bacteria before it's eliminated in the urine. Even 1,000 mg once a day will help, if the expense of 3 times a day is too expensive.
When the threat of COVID-19 subsides, I'll switch back to a maintenance dose of 1,000mg a day of liposomal vitamin C.

THE 2020 ELECTION
In a lousy, COVID-19 ravaged economy, the Democrats have a good 50% chance of winning the presidential election on November 3, 2020 with this slate of candidates: President: Joe Biden, and; Vice-President Michelle Obama.
No other slate of candidates can beat Donald J. Trump, in my opinion...even with millions of bogus Democrat votes from sanctuary cities & states.
It doesn't matter that Joe Biden has had two brain aneurysm operations & may be a bit senile or that he would likely step down from the presidency after a year or so for health reasons.
Michelle is a very popular former first lady, now doing a successful nationwide book tour. Although she has stated that she hates politics, Michelle would make a formidable opponent, as a V.P candidate, for Donald Trump & Mike Pence in the November 3rd election.
I wouldn't vote for Michelle, but millions of folks, living & dead, will.
